Good afternoon, dear students, guests!

Presenter 1

Profession history:It is difficult to reliably establish the time of the emergence of the confectionery craft. Perhaps the first confectioners were the Maya Indians, who discovered amazing properties chocolate or the inhabitants of ancient India, who knew the taste of cane sugar and prepared sweet sticks from it.

It is known that during archaeological excavations in Egypt, “candies” made by hand from dates were found.

In more recent times, at the courts of royalty and the highest nobility in Europe, confectioners were among the privileged servants.

Nowadays, the confectionery industry is experiencing a period of growth, actively mastering new technologies and developments from related areas of culinary.

Lead 2

A real confectioner will create around him creativity, pleasure when decorating cakes, pastries, excite the taste of many, many sweets, bring joy with his unforgettable beauty of rose petals, flowers, leaves. Flowers should be made so gracefully that one would like to pick them up and smell them.

Many confectioners today create small works of art that the most sophisticated gourmet would not resist. Who doesn't love this special atmosphere over a cup of coffee or fragrant tea, enjoying a leisurely conversation and admiring the art of a confectioner.

One French gourmet said: "There are five beautiful arts: painting, sculpture, poetry, music and architecture" - the main components of the confectionery art.

Presenter 1

In his work, the confectioner uses hand tools, mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Confectionery differ significantly in the degree of labor automation: from fully automated production (automated production lines for the production of wafers, cookies, sweets) in large confectionery and workshops, to non-automated production (manual labor using mechanical and electromechanical equipment for the production of cakes, pastries), etc. P

These groups, in turn, include a number of industries: caramel, candy, chocolate, marmalade, wafer, biscuits, crackers, biscuits, cakes, pastries, etc., differing in technology, equipment used and final products.

The confectionery industry is one of the fastest growing industries Food Industry. Over the past four years, the consumption of confectionery products has increased from 8.5 kg to 10 kg per person per year.

The profession of a confectioner is in demand at all times. It is interesting to note that consumption and love for "sweet" practically does not depend on the state of the economy. In times of rising incomes, sales of exclusive products increase, and in times of economic recession, confectioners' products are no less popular, helping to cope with depression. Confectioners are sometimes compared to psychotherapists or healers of human souls.

Our students manage to do a lot in a day, while they spend a lot of effort and energy. To replenish this energy, I help them with their favorite confectionery. We will now listen to our favorite confectionery products.
