The idea of opening a beer store on tap in Russia is promising, and therefore popular. According to statistics, it is beer that is the leader in the list of the most consumed alcoholic beverages. In addition, today our country occupies the 4th place in the market alcoholic products, the quality level of which has changed for the better in recent years.

Market analysis and location selection

"Live beer" differs from the usual goods in glass and bottles in many advantages: full taste, smell and best quality and is considered more attractive to customers. All this plays into the hands of businessmen who decide to create their own beer enterprise. But let's deal with the main problems, risks, and most importantly, the costs of such a business.

The buyer of beer by weight cannot be absolutely all people who are in locality, city. Here, like any other product, there is a certain circle of customers: men and women of middle age. Based on this indicator, you need to choose a place for your store.

Consider a few of the most commonly used beer business options:

  • beer shop - a specially equipped building for retail goods;
  • a beer department in a supermarket, the area of \u200b\u200bwhich is usually rented;
  • beer pavilion - a separate trading facility with the presence of communications, a warehouse.

Most often on initial stage Entrepreneurs prefer to rent the building, but the most profitable option is to open a beer pavilion, since according to the established laws of the Russian Federation, in order to rent a room, you need to pay 1,800 rubles per square meter, and registration is charged fixed amount in the amount of 9000 rubles. If you are going to create a beer point in a supermarket, get ready to reckon with and rely on the rules and requirements of the owner.

The location of the beer store should be closer to the sleeping areas of the city, youth gatherings, parks, recreation areas, the main traffic artery. There are several nuances associated with legal restrictions:

  • If this is a residential building, then it must be transferred to the status of non-residential.
  • Retail trade is possible only in stationary objects.

The beer store should not be located in the "forbidden zone", that is, a place located next to children's organizations, educational institutions, sports facilities, hospitals, railway stations, airports, military facilities.

Pay attention to the income level of the residents of the selected area, because with the right knowledge you will be able to better form the range of products offered, and the competitiveness of existing outlets.

Main provisions of the project

The development of a business project is impossible without the competent creation of its main stage - the documentary base. Special permits and approvals (SES, administration, other bodies) for the opening beer business you do not need to receive, it is enough to notify the Rospotrebnadzor body about the start of activities. However, it must be remembered that organizations and entrepreneurs must know and comply with sanitary rules, fire safety rules, which can be found in the bodies of Rospotrebnadzor.

Next, you need to register a legal or individual as an entrepreneur in the tax authority. More often, lawyers advise establishing an LLC, which will reduce future costs for the ever-tightening legislation on the rules for individual businessmen.

In the future, the main papers in the beer store will be documents indicating the source of receipt and confirming the quality and safety of the products sold, the availability of appropriate conditions for its storage and sale.

It is equally important to choose good supplier beer. Experts believe that it is more profitable to buy a drink from the manufacturer if you already own several outlets. It is better for novice entrepreneurs to cooperate with distributors, since their margin is low, but there is a delivery service to the buyer's store. Here are some tips to help you choose the right supplier.

  1. Criterion. You don't always have to buy the lowest priced product for the range of beers you need. If the price is low, and the delivery is paid, then it will not be cheaper.
  2. Advice. Terms of sale and delivery
  3. Price. Choose a supplier with a flexible pricing policy, that is, the possibility of a delay and the availability of discounts.

It will also be a big plus Additional services for the provision and maintenance of bottling equipment. To reduce shipping costs, prefer local manufacturers. Before signing the contract, find out about the experience of the supplier, ask for waybills, certificates of conformity or for all types of beer.

When you decide on the building, the supplier, arrange all Required documents and make repairs, you need to go to the next paragraphs of the business plan.

Necessary equipment and personnel for the operation

The mandatory list of equipment should include a cooler that maintains the temperature of beer, a rack for installing taps, a counter, a refrigerator, kegs for transporting beer from a supplier and storing products, a beer tap, a special hose, gas cylinders and a pressure reducer. All this equipment does not have to be bought at once, but can be rented, the monthly cost of which usually ranges from 2-10% of the price of new equipment, depending on the type of equipment.

Recently, thermal chambers or kegerators have become increasingly popular. With a beer storage system in a separate room, centrally cooled, there are a number of advantages:

  • The system allows you to reduce the cost of equipment (coolers) and rental. Especially noticeable for large points - from 30 varieties with a good strait.
  • Unpleasant odors are eliminated from the retail space.
  • Not only connected kegs are cooled, but also those that are being replaced.

Concerning commercial equipment, here we need cash machine, scales, a universal showcase for displaying goods and tables with chairs if you plan to sell beer on tap in mugs.

For normal functioning 2-4 sellers are enough for a beer shop. Their number depends on the work schedule and the number of clients. When hiring, pay attention to the ability to communicate with customers, knowledge of beer varieties, or at least a vision of the difference between the proposed assortment. We advise you to give preference to former bartenders. Not unimportant factor is the appearance of a person, it should have to itself. Do not forget to keep an eye on the work of your staff, as often the income of a beer store on tap suffers due to the tricks of the sellers. However, if wage employee is worthy, he is unlikely to want to deceive the employer and customers.

How to advertise the store and attract customers

First you need to create positive image shop. The original name, external and internal design will help in this. On the street, it is necessary to make an outdoor sign with a catchy slogan and a price list for drinks, which should attract not only pedestrians, but also drivers. Decorate themed windows and take care of good lighting. The internal interior should be made in the same style, branded clothes for sellers are welcome.

Even at the initial stage, one can find regular customers, will help in this bright opening ceremony with a tasting of beers, coupons and discounts for the first buyers. To further attract people, it is worth conducting certain services, for example, ordering beer by phone, home delivery. A WEB-page on the Internet, all kinds of promotions and gifts for customers will not interfere.

Possible dates for opening a beer outlet

Open a quality store for short term- not an easy task. Businessmen will have to face a number of problems and delays, which we dealt with earlier. Difficulties may arise if you do not have experience in this field.

For a faster return on investment, it is better to open a store draft beer spring or summer, because it is during this period that the demand for this drink increases.

Thus, it may take 1-2 months to open a beer outlet.

Fixed and variable costs

Consider the costs of a businessman who is about to open a beer store on tap and lease the building. The initial costs will be associated with paperwork, the purchase of the necessary interior items and assortment, and the organization of advertising.

  • IP registration: 100 rubles
  • Repair: 50,000 rubles
  • Purchase of chairs and tables: 15,000 rubles
  • Sign order: 30,000 rubles
  • Outdoor advertising: 15,000 rubles
  • Equipment: 200,000 rubles
  • Purchase of an assortment of beer: 100,000 rubles

Total: 410,100 rubles.

In the future, the costs will go to the development of the enterprise, the payment of taxes, salaries to sellers, and improving the quality of products.

  • Rent: 30,000 rubles
  • Salary (including insurance premiums and tax): 100,000 rubles
  • Raw materials: 250,000 rubles
  • Advertising: 5,000 rubles
  • Monthly costs: 385,000 rubles
  • Profit before tax: 95,000 rubles
  • Tax: 14 250 rubles
  • Net profit: 80,750 rubles

According to market analysis and the experience of entrepreneurs in the beer business, the profitability of the business is 30%, which is an excellent indicator, and the payback period is six months. During this time, the beer store on tap will rise and be able to bring in a significant net profit.

As a result, we advise novice businessmen to take a responsible approach to creating their own business plan and not to forget about the main risks of production: seasonality, shelf life of products, control by government agencies.

In contact with

Nowadays, most summer residents prefer to use to fence their plots and logically distribute the area into sections.

The chain-link mesh is an invention of engineer Karl Rabitz, who at one time came up with the idea of using rolls of knitting wire to create a spectacular, very convenient and at the same time quite cheap fence.

1 Features of mesh and wire

The chain-link mesh is special kind mesh made from braided wire. The wire is taken thin, with a diameter of up to 3 mm. Most often, samples with a cross-sectional size of 1-1.5 millimeters are used.

The wire is knitted on special machine, intertwining into a grid with rectangular cells of certain sizes.

The benefits of using a chain-link mesh are obvious. Its weight is quite low, you can mount the structure with your own hands. The wire consumption is relatively small, it is easily determined and does not hit the pocket.

At the same time, the fence performs its tasks. Its dimensions are sufficient to qualitatively protect the site from the street, thereby protecting your space from unwanted guests, animals, etc.

They use it for a wide variety of tasks, ranging from fencing pens with animals, and ending with full-fledged fences at security companies.

The wire itself plays an important role. It is the only and main component of the grid, so its characteristics, dimensions and thickness have a huge impact on the final result.

See also: what are the benefits, and where can it be used?

In terms of the cross-sectional diameter, as we have already noted, rather thin samples are selected, their thickness rarely exceeds 2 mm.

For a large-sized mesh, the use of which is reasonable at military or industrial facilities, thicker models can also be used, but in civilian conditions there are no particular advantages from it, and the production price of a thick chain-link mesh is much higher.

1.1 Coating

The second point is coverage. The coating of the wire affects how long it will last in operating conditions.

According to the type of coating, the wire for the fence chain-link is:

  1. Black.
  2. Polymerized or plasticized.

Black is the wire for the fence, untreated. It is cast from black steel of a standard grade. This steel is very good and perfect for fastening the fence, if not for its poor resistance to corrosion.

The fence mesh made of a black sample of wire will begin to rust in a few years, and in a dozen it will completely rust. Not that it was a very big problem.

The fence will not crumble due to rust, but it will lose its presentation, as well as the initial strength indicators.

Galvanized mesh wires are the simplest and most effective solution. Galvanized mesh withstands the influence of external factors longer, less likely to corrode.

However, galvanized products will also begin to break down over time, but much later. But it is more durable, not inferior to the first option in strength and does not cost much more.

Polymerized or plasticized mesh is the most popular and convenient option. Here, steel wires are coated with polymer compounds, forming a kind of protective sheath.

2 Manufacturing

Many are interested in whether it is possible to create a chain-link type grid with your own hands. After all, modern manufacturers have managed to use a minimum of equipment and materials for such tasks.

Indeed, in order to form a high-quality mesh, huge workshops and production lines are not needed. It is enough to have material and a single quality one.

Do not weave a chain-link by hand. It is a hard, ungrateful, and monstrously slow mode of production.

See also: in which companies can I order?

It is much more reasonable to use modern automatic or semi-automatic, where the process comes down to cutting the wires of the desired length, feeding them to the machine, and then weaving in the right order.

This work is performed by the machine operator. During a shift, he makes several tens of square meters of a grid with cells of 50 × 50 mm. It is impossible to give exact performance figures, because much depends on the type of wires, the efficiency of the machine, the size of the cells, the efficiency of the operator himself, etc.

2.1 Chain-link production on a semi-automatic machine (video)

2.2 Material consumption

The consumption of material is quite easy to detect. For this, there is a clear and easy formula that allows us to understand quite accurately how much product is needed, and how much it will cost us.

The formula is based on the ratio of several indicators. The nominal weight of the raw material for the grid, the size of the mesh cells (the size of the cell directly affects the consumption) and the diameter of the wire are taken into account.

So, consumption formula for 1 square meter of chain-link as follows:

13.40 * D 2 /A, where

  • 13.40 - a constant coefficient corresponding to the consumption weight;
  • D 2 - wire diameter squared;
  • A - cell size (if the cell is 50 × 50 mm, then we write 50 in A, if 35 × 35 mm, then we write 35 in A, etc.).

The result is the weight of the wire, or the weight of the roll, that must be used to form a 1 square meter netting of the required dimensions.

For a standard chain-link intended for use in civil conditions with a cell size of 55 × 55 mm, the weight of the material used, and therefore its consumption, is 0.6 kg per 1 m 2.

Woven mesh netting with cells 50×50 mm

According to such a simple, but at the same time effective scheme, you can easily determine the weight and consumption of any kind of chain-link.

2.3 Manufacturers

Weaving a chain-link is permissible and profitable only if you are absolutely confident in your abilities and clearly understand why you need it.

Buying even a manual machine is a serious investment. They will not pay off as soon as you might like.

That is why for tasks that are trivial and small, it makes sense to simply turn to well-known manufacturers and buy products of the quality you need.

Fortunately, there are more than enough manufacturers on the market. The chain-link weaving process is so simple that there are factories for its production in almost every major city.

  • UkrTransMetal;
  • PE "Metizy-94".

The former are engaged in large-scale production of a huge number of metal and wire products, ranging from knitting collars for fittings to full-fledged fencing sections.

The second ones are less popular, but they offer their products at a lower price with excellent quality.

Netting wire from these manufacturers is very high quality and durable, sold in huge number varieties.

2.4 Mounting

An interesting point concerns the fastening of the mesh as a full-fledged fence. For fastening use different ways. The choice depends on your desires and working conditions.

So, the simplest and at the same time very effective method- planting a chain-link in advance. Fasteners in this case are made from cheaper or special fasteners.

If the situation requires it, then a hard wire or thin fittings are passed along the lower and upper parts of the cells. It will stabilize the plane of the fence, making it much more stable.

The second mounting option is the installation of separate sections, where a pre-cut chain-link is attached to a full-fledged section consisting of a metal frame, and then, as an integral element of the fence, is planted on ready-made monolithic poles.

This design is considered much more mobile, it is easy to repair and modify, but it will take more time to work, you may need the help of a welder. Which in turn increases the final cost of the fence.

The production of chain-link mesh for someone can become profitable business, and someone will help save the family budget as a result of refusing to purchase it. The main thing is to immediately decide for what purpose it was decided to engage in this production, and approach it with all responsibility, having calculated your capabilities, investments and benefits from this business, choosing necessary premises, equipment, raw material suppliers and personnel when it comes to large volumes.

1

Netting netting is a business that, although seasonally dependent, is highly lucrative. It does not require large investments (both at the stage of opening this business and in the process of its conduct), numerous personnel and large production areas, since all necessary equipment compact, regardless of its execution. In addition, there are no special requirements for the room chosen for the manufacture of this woven mesh. Depending on the scope of the proposed production, from one to several jobs can be equipped in the basement, shed, garage, warehouse.

Mesh production

Each place will require only 10–15 m 2, which will accommodate a table and a knitting machine. And you still need to allocate some space for storing raw materials and finished products. Its area, of course, will depend on the volume of production and the speed of the implementation of the grid, but should not be less than 10 m 2. With the choice of equipment, too, there will be no problems. You can always choose a suitable manual, semi-automatic or even automatic machine. Equipment manual control unproductive, and it is usually used to make chain-link only for their own household needs.

And for the production of mesh for sale, as a rule, they choose semi- and automatic machines. They require a three-phase power supply. Several types of chain-link are produced, the division into which is determined by the shape (rhombic or square) and size (in the light from 5 to 100 mm) of the cells, as well as the thickness of the wire used (diameters from 1.2 to 5 mm) and a number of other characteristics of the finished product. Technical requirements to the grid and its assortment are regulated by GOST 5336-80.

You can read about the division into types, characteristics and application of these products in the article. Within the framework of this article, it should be noted that the most popular is a wire mesh with a diameter of 1.6 mm. And the most common version of weaving a chain-link is with square cells. Standard product size: length - 100 cm and height - 150 cm. But manufacturers make chain-link with other sizes when required by the customer. The finished mesh is rolled into rolls for ease of storage and transportation. The wire needed for manufacturing can be purchased at almost any organization that sells building materials(in the store or at the base).

And even if there is no raw material there due to low demand due to a rarely used diameter or type of coating, then the wire can be ordered. It will be delivered as soon as possible.

2

This is the simplest production option that does not require complex economic calculations. The room for him can be any of those listed above in the first chapter. And simple equipment you can do yourself. If you want to make a factory-quality mesh, you will need to purchase a manual machine with suitable characteristics and cost. In general, the manufacturing process of this woven mesh consists in twisting the wire in a certain way.

Types of chain-link mesh

How to weave it yourself and how to make the necessary equipment is discussed in the article. Even if the net will be needed only for arranging the fence of your own site, then in the case of self-manufacturing of devices for its production, the savings in the family budget will be a very tangible amount. And how to make a fence using this product is described in the article.

3

Much wider than many think. It is used not only for fencing territories for various purposes, but also for thermal insulation work, screening of bulk materials, fastening walls and vaults of mine workings and mines. So with its implementation, by and large, there should be no problems.

Chain-link mesh in rolls

However, before starting a large-scale production of chain-link for your own enrichment, you should definitely draw up a business plan. It should contain the following items:

  • analysis of the market and potential competitors;
  • options and markets;
  • project description;
  • calculation and analysis of start-up capital;
  • possible risks;
  • personnel and equipment;
  • advertising (when reaching directly to large consumers, it may not be necessary);
  • calculation of profitability and payback time of production.

As noted above, for large-scale production, semi-automatic or automatic machines will be required. Selection of premises and staff depends on the choice. For automatic machines, only an operator is needed to set the necessary parameters on the control panel and load the wire into the receiving device.

When making a financial calculation, you need to take into account:

  • The cost of raw materials. For example, 1 ton of zinc-coated wire with a diameter of 1.8 mm costs 70,000 rubles. On a standard roll (the dimensions are indicated above), it will take about 10 kg. That is, 700 rubles must be spent on raw materials for one roll.
  • Equipment energy costs. One mesh roll is produced in less than an hour. Therefore, approximately the energy consumption per 1 roll is equal to the power of the machine, and the costs are calculated by multiplying this value by the tariff.
  • Estimated salary of staff depending on their qualifications.
  • The cost of renting the premises, taxes, transport for the delivery of products to the customer.
  • Wholesale and retail cost of 1 roll of chain-link (around 1000 and 1600 rubles).
  • Competitive prices.

As a result, the profit from the wholesale sale of a grid of galvanized wire with a diameter of 1.8 mm can be up to 200 rubles (plus or minus) per 1 roll. Then, per month, when manufacturing 440 rolls on 1 machine, the production of chain-link should bring 88,000 rubles.

4

For the production of mesh, a wire made of low-carbon steel is used and offered in three versions: uncoated, galvanized and coated with a polymer material. In rare cases, wire is used of stainless steel. Obviously, with the lowest cost will be the chain-link, made from low-carbon raw materials without coating. And the most expensive one is made of stainless steel.

Features of chain-link wire

Considering that the chain-link is mainly used on outdoors, and in other cases of application is subjected to influences, corrosive, it is usually made of galvanized wire. At the same time, for the fabricated mesh, an important criterion is the thickness of the zinc coating. It is expressed as the amount of zinc deposited on the wire. In the CIS countries, galvanized wire is most often produced by hot dip galvanizing. This method of applying zinc to steel is the most reliable both in terms of the durability of the coating obtained and the protection of the product with it from corrosion.

The zinc content on the wire surface is 70–90 g/m2. A mesh made of such raw materials will last, without rusting at all, for a long time - approximately 20 years. Often used now modern way galvanizing - electrolytic, providing a coating with an amount of zinc in the region of 10 g / m 2, much less reliable. A mesh made of such raw materials will rust very quickly - within 2 years of its operation.

Almost the same demand as galvanized is used by a chain-link made from low-carbon uncoated wire. This is due to its low cost. However, such a mesh should be painted after fabrication to protect it from corrosion. This is done either by the buyer himself after purchasing the product, or by the manufacturer - at the request of the customer and for an additional fee.

If the chain-link is operated in a humid maritime climate (on the sea coast and in adjacent areas), then even a hot zinc coating will not protect it for a long time. The grid will begin to deteriorate much earlier than in 20 years. The reason is the high content of salts and moisture in the air. In this regard, in such regions, chain-link is usually produced from low-carbon raw materials with a polymer coating.
