The job is received and the goal is achieved, and it does not matter at all that the salary is only enough for food and clothes, as well as for paying for a rented apartment. Every year such work more and more resembles ordinary slavery, as a person does only what his boss tells him, and not a step back. Of course he pays money!

As experience and connections grow, the employee decides that he already deserves more and moves to leadership positions. His expenses are increasing and his salary is also increasing. He starts a family and children, takes a car on credit and a house on a mortgage. Demands are growing and you need to somehow pay for all this. And my daughter is getting married.

Therefore, a person has no choice but to go for another promotion. With a successful combination of circumstances, such an employee himself becomes the boss. And everything seems to be fine now, but there is Pyotr Ivanovich, the owner of the company or a higher head in the ministry. And now you can definitely forget about quiet weekends, because for such a salary he can demand anything - even work on weekends and calls at night. What about unrealistic plans and commitments?

There is nothing left for a person to do, how to continue working, because they need to pay bills, teach and help children, and educate grandchildren. And then there’s also health at the age of 45-50, on a nervous basis, fooling around! And then, at one fine moment, Petr Ivanovich finally gets it and the person leaves the company at the age of 50, or he finishes it quietly until retirement.

With the onset of retirement, incomes fall and you have to tighten your belts, and if loans have not yet been paid, and the mortgage is pressing - then it’s generally “tin”! And no future prospects.

In principle, I considered this not the worst option for career development, because most often it happens much worse. Of course, there are exceptions everywhere, but these are 70-90 percent of cases in our country. This is what work for the "uncle" leads to.

9. Don't work with friends

Friendship is friendship, but it is better not to mix it with work. Do not engage with comrades and do not involve them as employees. As sad practice shows, this can be the end of your relationship or turn into serious material problems.

If one of your friends or relatives stubbornly stuffs himself into your clients / employees - and it seems somehow inconvenient to refuse, - it’s better to advise him to another pro, referring to the lack of time and the fact that he, the other, is much better versed in question. Save yourself a bunch of nerve cells and protect yourself from unnecessary conflicts.

10. Don't forget to go to the doctor

The lack of an HR department really means that you can "not worry" about sick leaves. Nevertheless, you need to go to the doctor - although many freelancers for medical care do not apply and as a result get sick for several months. Yes, you can sit at home and work with a temperature below 39, sniffing and swallowing analgin, but your performance and productivity, to put it mildly, will leave much to be desired. As a result, you will probably delay the deadlines, and even worse - screw up with the order, and then you will vaguely justify yourself to the customer.

If you are sick, it is better to honestly admit it to yourself, and then to the client. Warn him in advance about the forced delay, be treated under medical supervision, and then return to work and hand over the order.

You can do everything! Try, go through a couple of tests, but reach the end, because this is your life and only you are responsible for how you live!
