Small ponds are appropriate in such gardens, and although mosquitoes will certainly appear in them, their numbers will be regulated by dragonflies and water striders. And if castor beans are planted somewhere near the pond, then the detachment of mosquitoes will be even smaller, or will not appear at all. Boulders are good in the ecological garden, they create platforms where lizards bask in the sun. These are wonderful helpers that regulate the number of slugs. Also, stones collect condensate during night and day air temperature fluctuations, there is always more moisture under them.
