Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening of KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in sleepers of 72º are designed for use on railways ah with a track width of 1520 mm. This width is standardized for all railways of the Russian Federation.

Advantages of using reinforced concrete sleepers of sleeper Sh 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening of KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in sleepers of 72º compared to other materials:

  • long period of operation (fifty years or more);
  • high degree of mechanical strength;
  • resistance to aggressive factors environment, including rotting;
  • the possibility of reuse of products (in this case we are talking about such a type of product as used reinforced concrete sleepers);
  • the possibility of using on sections of the railway track, which are characterized by a high degree of traffic density.

Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening of KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers of 72º are solid beams that have a variable section. The sleepers have special platforms on which the rails are mounted. The holes located on these platforms are necessary for installing fixing bolts for rail and sleeper fastening and intermediate fastening of reinforced concrete sleepers to each other.

The technological process for the production of reinforced concrete sleepers, sleepers Ш 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in sleepers of 72º, is as follows: reinforcing wire, usually steel with a periodic profile, with a diameter 3.00 mm, belonging to the class Bp. After that, the wire is stretched with a tension force of 8.1 kN and using a vibrator, the mold is filled with a concrete mixture with a certain component composition. After the concrete composition hardens and gains its performance characteristics, the tension of the steel wire is removed. This technology for the production of reinforced concrete sleepers provides high strength characteristics of products and prevents their splitting under increased loads, for example, the movement of rolling stock.

Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-2 for separate terminal and bolt fastening of KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers of 72º are made in strict accordance with the standards specified in GOST 10629-88, from heavy, dense concrete with a compressive strength class of B40. Frost resistance strength class – not less than F200. As a filler, crushed stone from natural stone or from gravel with a fraction of 5-20 mm is used.

Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers 72º are produced with prestressed reinforcement, thanks to which the products acquire the necessary for railway tracks margin of safety. As reinforcement for sleepers, steel wire of a periodic profile of class Bp with a diameter of 3 mm in accordance with GOST 7348 and TU 14-4-1471-87 should be used. The nominal number of reinforcing wires in the sleeper is 44. The location of the wires, controlled at the ends of the sleeper, must correspond to the design specified in the GOST and the drawing of the product. Separating spacers remaining in the concrete body of the sleeper can be used to ensure the design arrangement of the wires. It is allowed, upon agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, to use spacers that differ from those specified in the project.

Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening of KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers of 72º are extremely important products, therefore quite serious requirements are imposed on the quality of these products. Values of deviations from geometric parameters should not exceed the established GOST 10629-88 and specified in the table. The deviation from the straightness of the profile of the under-rail platforms over the entire length or width should not exceed 1 mm. The slope of the under-rail platforms to the longitudinal axis of the sleeper in the vertical plane passing through the axis (sub-slope) must be within 1:18 - 1:22. The difference in the slopes of the under-rail platforms of different ends of the sleeper in the direction transverse to the axis of the sleeper (propeller ratio) should not exceed 1:80. It is allowed to have imprints of diaphragm stiffeners with a depth of no more than 5 mm on the ends of the products. The depth of the gaps between the wires and concrete at the ends of the sleepers should not exceed 15 mm. The sleepers do not allow: concrete sagging in the channels for the bolts, preventing the free installation and rotation of these bolts in working position; local influxes of concrete on under-rail platforms; turning the rail fastening bolts in the sleeper channels when tightening the nuts; cracks in concrete.

Serious requirements are also imposed on the quality of fittings. The vertical distance in the light between pairs or individual wires of the reinforcement, in case of their deviation from the design position, should not be less than 8 mm. It is allowed to turn pairs of wires by 90° while maintaining the above distance. The total force of the initial tension of all reinforcing wires in the package must be at least 358 kN (36.4 tf). The average value of the initial tension force of one wire with their nominal number should be 8.12 kN (827 kgf). The tensile force of individual wires should not differ from the average value by more than 10%. The decrease in the tension force of individual wires in excess of 10%, caused by the slippage of the wire in the grip, should not be more than one wire in sleepers of the first grade and two wires in sleepers of the second grade. Deviations from the nominal number of reinforcing wires are allowed, provided that the total tension force of the available wires is not less than that specified in the project. In this case, the maximum deviations in the number of wires should not exceed ± 2 pcs. The ends of the prestressed reinforcement should not protrude beyond the end surfaces of the sleepers of the first grade by more than 15 mm and of the second grade by more than 20 mm.

Reinforced concrete sleepers Ш 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening of KB with an angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in sleepers of 72º should be transported and stored in stacks in horizontal rows in the working position - sole down. The height of the stack should be no more than 16 rows. Linings for sleepers and gaskets between them in a stack should be placed in the recesses of the under-rail platforms of the sleepers. The thickness of wooden linings and spacers must be at least 50 mm. It is allowed, by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, to use wooden spacers with a cross section of at least 40x40 mm when they are located at a distance of 30 - 40 mm from the thrust edges of the recesses in the under-rail areas of the sleepers.

The sleepers of the sleeper Ш 1-2 for separate terminal-bolt fastening of the KB with the angle of inclination of the persistent edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers of 72º are transported in gondola cars or cars. Transportation of sleepers of different brands and grades in the same gondola car or car is not allowed.

Ask a Question

Reinforced concrete sleepers are the main components of railway tracks.
Currently, they got wide application unlike wooden sleepers. In the railway track, the support is laid on the upper structure of the ballast layer, which creates stability in the mutual arrangement of the rail threads. Pressure perceived from intermediate fastenings or from rails is transferred to the ballast layer (sleeper base). The main advantage is the creation of the best equal elasticity of the rail supports. Along with this, the sleepers are more resistant to decay, and also have greater crushing strength. The service life of reinforced concrete sleepers under daily load reaches an average of 50 years.
Practice shows that the movement of the train on reinforced concrete sleepers is smoother, while the creation of best conditions for operation of a seamless track due to high lateral stability.
The manufacture of sleepers is carried out directly with the requirements specified in GOST.
There are a number of basic technical characteristics of the production of reinforced concrete sleepers.

Length - 2700 mm.
. Width - 300 mm.
. Height - 230 mm.
. Frost resistance - not lower than F200
. Concrete category - not less than B40 (M500)

Reinforced concrete sleepers are a rather complex structure, which is subject to various weather conditions, and is also operated with daily emergency loads.
Reinforced concrete sleepers modern type- solid bars made of stressed reinforced concrete, reinforced with high-strength wire, fully complying with TU 5864 - 019 - 11337151-95 and GOST 10629-88.

Classification of reinforced concrete sleepers:

. Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-1 (the angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers is 55 degrees o) are used for separate terminal-bolt fastening of the design bureau with bolted attachment of the lining to the sleeper. They are made from heavy concrete of the B40 (M500) compressive strength class. The frost resistance grade of concrete must be at least F200 (Mrz200). For concrete sleepers, crushed stone (from natural stone or gravel) with a fraction of 5-20 mm is used. GOST 10629-88.
. Reinforced concrete sleepers Ш 1-2 (the angle of inclination of the thrust edges of the under-rail platforms in the sleepers is 72 degrees o) are used for separate terminal-bolt fastening of the design bureau with bolted attachment of the lining to the sleeper. GOST 10629-88.
. Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 2-1 are used for inseparable terminal-bolt rail fastening of the BPU with bolted attachment of the lining or rail to the sleeper. GOST 10629.
. ZhB sleepers Sh 3 are used for inseparable terminal-bolt fastening of ZhBR65 with bolted attachment of the rail to the sleeper.
. Reinforced concrete sleepers ShS-ARS are used for anchor rail fastening.
. Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-16 * 5 - sleepers with high-strength wire reinforcement of a periodic profile with a diameter of 3 to 5 mm.
. Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-4*10 are sleepers with high-strength bar reinforcement of a periodic profile with a diameter of rods from 7 to 12 mm.

For sleepers, steel wire of a periodic profile is widely used as reinforcement. At the same time, its diameter should be 3 mm, and the wire itself should have the form of class Bp. The number of wires in the nominal value of the scale is 44, and each wire is stretched with a special force of 8.1 kN. Unlike crack resistance, the geometric parameters and quality of concrete surfaces are divided into two categories: the first and second. Implementation of laying on access roads, as well as on stationary and inactive ones, is carried out with second-class sleepers. Moreover, delivery occurs only with the consent of the consumer.
On R65 rails, having KB fastening, the tonnage operating time is at least 2,000 million gross tons. The defect volume of reinforced concrete sleepers in the general output and repair of all types does not exceed 5-6% after the passage of 1.0 billion gross tons.
The most significant savings comes from the relocation of old reinforced concrete sleepers removed from the tracks of the 1st and 2nd category during major repairs, on the tracks of the 3rd-4th classes and access roads industrial enterprises.
When transporting reinforced concrete sleepers, it is necessary to be guided by the requirements of GOST 13015-2003, this requirement also applies directly to storage methods. It is necessary to store the sleepers in piles, while the rows must be strictly horizontal and with the sole down, i.e. in the working position. The stack should be 16 rows high, but no more! It is also necessary to lay wooden linings under the sleepers and between them. Between the sleepers they are placed in the recesses. The minimum thickness of the pads is 50 mm. It is permissible to deviate from the use of wooden spacers with a minimum cross section of 40x40 mm, but only with the consent of the consumer.
Transportation is carried out in gondola cars or trucks. It is unacceptable to transport different brands in the same wagon or car body.
The manufacturer of reinforced concrete sleepers carries out a warranty period of 3 years from the date of their laying on the railway tracks.

Reinforced concrete sleepers

Reinforced concrete sleepers are divided into several categories depending on the possibilities of their use. General is the principle of production. Ready-made reinforced concrete sleepers are reinforced concrete beams that have previously undergone a tension procedure (to increase strength). Sleepers are produced taking into account the resistance to cracking, frost-resistant. The estimated service life of reinforced concrete sleepers is about 50 years.

Reinforced concrete sleeper Sh-1-1 (grade 1) - an element of the upper structure of the railway track. It is a beam of heavily reinforced reinforced concrete. Heavy concrete of the highest category is used in production.

In comparison with wooden sleepers, a reinforced concrete product has the highest performance characteristics: increased strength, resistance to cracking, frost resistance, long service life (up to 50 years).

This type of sleeper Sh-1-1 is designed for terminal-bolt rail fastening KB with bolted fastening of the lining to the sleeper. Used for laying wide gauge railways (1520 mm), with rails P50, P65, P75.

Reinforced concrete sleepers Sh-1-1 are much heavier and stronger than wooden ones, therefore they are used in the construction of highways and other high-traffic tracks.

The only drawback of such products is the high cost.

When ordering a reinforced concrete sleeper, you must specify:

  • What quantity do you need: specify in pcs.;

Prestressed reinforced concrete sleepers Sh 1-1 for 1520 mm gauge railways

In the largest country in the world, there is a strong need for a coherent system railway transport. Mass freight and passenger traffic contributed to the development of the railway network in the farthest corners of Russia. To build a reliable canvas, not only strong rails are needed, but also a large number of factory reinforced concrete. The quality of the sleepers plays a huge role in the construction of strong tracks. Reliable sleepers are actively produced on proven reinforced concrete structures, which strictly follow the order technical control and norms GOST 10629-88.

Today, for laying roads, prestressed sleepers are used, made of very dense heavy concrete. The sleepers are expected to have solid endurance, climatic resistance and bioresistance, frost resistance and crack resistance. The solid loads that the sleepers transfer to the ground must be evenly distributed throughout the product, so considerable attention is paid to the design and manufacture of sleepers. You can order modern sleepers with a track gauge of 1520 mm in our catalog wholesale and retail. Original products from leading manufacturers are designed and certified in accordance with GOST 10629-88. The unified dimensions of the sleepers are 2700x300x250 mm, and you can also find other models in the Reinforced Concrete Products Directory from our company (for example, tram sleepers). The manufacture of sleeper products is carried out from concrete with special additives that make reinforced concrete products more resistant to moisture, frost, and aggressive environments. Also of particular importance is the thickness of the protective layer of concrete to the reinforcement and the geometric accuracy of the sleepers. Testing is necessarily carried out in the factory or in independent laboratories in accordance with GOST 10629-88.

Normative act applies to reinforced concrete, prestressed sleepers for railway tracks with a rail gauge of 1520 mm and rails of types P75, P65 and P50, for standard rolling stock. Specialists of "Complex-S" will help you choose the sleepers for your project, we provide fast delivery Reinforced concrete products throughout Russia and neighboring countries for 15 years.

The Ministry of Railways strictly regulates the production of sleepers and other elements of railway tracks to ensure our safety. The design of the sleepers and their shape are designed to successfully dampen vibrational vibrations from the movement of the train.

A modern reinforced concrete sleeper is a solid beam sleeper made from prestressed reinforced concrete. It must be reinforced with high-strength wire and comply with the requirements of GOST 10629-88 and TU 5864-019-11337151-95. Serially produced concrete sleeper type Sh-1-1 for terminal-bolt separate fastening KB. The strength of the concrete of the sleepers is determined on cube samples made from the same concrete mix as the sleepers and heat treated under the same conditions as the sleepers.

Sleepers Sh-1-1 are made from heavy concrete. The brand of concrete in terms of frost resistance must be at least F200 (Mrz200). For concrete sleepers, crushed stone with a fraction of 5-20 mm is used. Steel wire of Bp class with a diameter of 3 mm is used as reinforcement for reinforced concrete sleepers. The nominal number of wires is 44. Depending on the level of crack resistance, geometric parameters, as well as the quality of concrete surfaces, these sleepers are divided into two grades: the first and second. Sleepers of the second grade are mainly used for laying on station and access roads. On inactive lines, the service life of such sleepers is 50 years. However, today many organizations are trying to purchase modern prestressed new sleepers in order to form the most reliable industrial routes.

Such Construction Materials, how reinforced concrete sleepers invariably popular due to the versatility of its application. GOST 10629-88 also provides a classification of defects in reinforced concrete sleepers in a detailed table.

Longitudinal and transverse cracks in concrete, spalling of concrete in bolt holes and edges of rail platforms are not allowed. Since 2001, we have been selling and delivering concrete sleepers anywhere in Russia. Here you can order classic or original models from 1 piece. You can see the price list and current prices for strained sleepers Ш directly on the website. Here, in the "Reinforced Concrete Products Directory", working drawings for the production of railway sleepers are also presented.

Features of prestressed sleepers

Reinforced concrete sleepers are reinforced concrete beams of variable section. On such beams there are platforms for installing rails, as well as holes for bolts of rail and sleeper fastening (when driving wooden plugs into holes, spike and screw fastenings are also used). Reinforced concrete sleepers are made with reinforcement pretensioning. The manufacturing technology of reinforced concrete sleepers is as follows: reinforcement strings are placed in a special form, to which tensile forces are imparted. Then, under the action of a vibrator, the form is filled with concrete. When the concrete hardens, the stresses on the strings are released and the mold is disassembled. This method of manufacturing sleepers gives them elasticity and protects the sleeper from splitting under the rolling stock.

Advantages of reinforced concrete sleepers: practically unlimited service life due to high mechanical strength and resistance to rotting, which makes it possible to reuse the sleepers, as well as use them on busy sections of the track. Disadvantages: insufficient rigidity, high cost and weight, the possibility of concrete fatigue failure.
