Clothing and food markets in Antalya: Central, in Sharampol and Lara. Market prices. Where to buy spices? Neighborhoods of Konyaalti (Antalya) Shopping "routes" of Antalya

Of course, there are plenty of shops in Krnjaalti, of the most diverse profile. But in order not to bother with long hikes and searches for the necessary goods, the easiest way is to visit the Migros 5M shopping center, which is located in Konyaalti. Here, on several floors, there are hundreds of boutiques, various firms, both Turkish and imported. The range is simply huge, from food to household appliances.

As for the purchases of tourists, they are most interested in the goods of Turkish manufacturers or firms, which in Turkey will cost much less than outside. One of these companies, which is very popular not only among tourists, but also among the inhabitants of Turkey, is L.C. Waikiki.
The stores of this company offer a large selection of men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes and accessories. And this is not only everyday clothes and shoes, but also sports plan, clothes for pregnant women, outerwear. The choice is really huge, and the quality deserves attention. I must say that regardless of the period or season, there is always big discounts up to seventy five percent. This is a rather attractive factor and therefore there are always a lot of buyers in the departments of this company, especially in the evenings, when there are not only tourists, but also local residents who come to the center after work for shopping.

Turkish home textiles from such well-known companies as TACH, OzDilek. There are many other, less well-known, but no less high-quality companies that manufacture bed linen, blankets, bathrobes, towels and other products. There are many such stores in Migros and there are plenty to choose from.

But not only Turkish manufacturers are bought by the guests of Antalya. You can also go to the branded boutiques of companies such as Zara, Collins, Nike and dozens of others to compare prices. Perhaps they will be much more attractive than what you have at home.

And besides things, in Migros there is a huge food department, which will also be interesting to visit, maybe you will be interested in something that is not for sale with you. Just do not buy oriental sweets, most likely they will be more expensive and not as fresh as in the market that comes to Konyaalti on Tuesdays and is located in the Liman area.

Since we are talking about the bazaar, as I said, he comes on Tuesdays. Here you can buy any fruit, including quite exotic ones, and this does not greatly affect the time of year. Strawberries or something else, you can buy both in summer and in winter. The choice of vegetables and fruits will surely shock you.
This is where you need to buy oriental sweets, seasonings and spices, souvenirs and other trifles. Turkish delight is better to take by weight, it is fresher and tastier. Its selection is quite large. The same can be said about sherbet, which, in principle, is the same Turkish delight, only with a greater concentration of nuts. Prices for such sweets can also be different, it all depends on the variety of nuts that were used in the manufacture and their quantity. A normal Turkish delight costs about eight to ten dollars a kilogram.
Cheaper may be the one in which peanuts were used. There is an even more expensive one, which costs eighteen dollars. It is small, about the size of a human finger. Such Turkish delight is made without the addition of dyes and flavors, and honey is used instead of sugar. The taste is not very sweet, but nevertheless very tasty. Of course, taking it as a gift is probably too expensive, of course, depending on who you are going to give it to. For gifts, most often they take packaged in boxes, one or two dollars per box.

Another thing that is often bought at the bazaar is various nuts, which are just a nut paradise here.
These are pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and so on. Prices and quality vary. Souvenirs for memory can also be bought at the market, their choice is quite large. By the way, the bazaar has not only products, but also various things, including clothes. I want to say that some things are of quite good quality, we ourselves often buy T-shirts and tights for children on the market. There is even a point where they sell ready-made curtains, so you can buy this if you want. I don’t think it’s worth talking about carpets, because tourists don’t buy carpets so often, but they do exist.

Perhaps this is all that may be of interest to tourists who came to rest in Antalya and settled in Konyaalti. But if the choice of goods or the range that is in the area did not suit you, then you can safely take the bus with the number COP 06 and drive it to the center of Antalya, where the new shopping center is located Mark Antalya
or go even further, to the Muratpasha area and visit at least major center entitled Terra City.
So with shopping you will be all right, you definitely won’t be left without shopping. I must say that in any of these shopping centers, in addition to things and everything else, there are more than a dozen different cafes and restaurants where you can not only have a bite to eat, but also have a good time. McDonald's fans will also find their favorite place.
By the way, if you find yourself in the Old Town area, then there will be more than enough souvenirs, a whole row of shops and stalls. Just do not try to buy some kind of ancient coin or jewelry allegedly found by black diggers in the places of ancient settlements, since most likely it will be a fake, and if not, then in any case, you cannot avoid problems at the airport, since this is strictly checked. So it's better not to take risks and do not buy anything prohibited for export.

And a bunch of inexpensive cafes and restaurants.

This area has long been chosen by our compatriots - and for summer holidays, and for permanent residence. And it is clear why - the air is simply amazing, the sea is nearby, there is all the necessary infrastructure, many attractions and an excellent climate. But first things first.

Konyaalti is being actively built up. Mostly Russians live here:

By the way, in terms of population growth, the district occupies a confident first place throughout the province of Antalya. And in many ways - thanks to external migration (including from Russia).

Fountain in the center of the district:

The area is very clean and cozy, everywhere there are flowers, greenery, beautiful lawns.

Konyaalti is western district Antalya, located on the outskirts of the Taurus Mountains closer to. Konyaalti region stretches for 10 km along the coast from seaport(Liman) to and from the end.

1.1. How to get from the city center

The road from the city center takes about 15-20 minutes. The easiest way to get there is by municipal buses (KS06, KL08) and dolmushes (KS61 and KS34). Any bus with the letter "K" goes to Konyaalti beach. You just need to check with the driver if he reaches Beach Park, which stretches along the entire coast.

Decent and inexpensive apartments can be found very close to the beach. Interesting fact– renting an apartment in Antalya will cost much less than a hotel room. Therefore, if you cannot find a hotel that is suitable in terms of price-quality ratio, try to look at the apartments.

You can also search on hotellook or booking, or you can find an interesting option from the owners of accommodation on airbnb (when you register using this link, you can get $25 for your first booking!).

In I wrote in detail about the apartment in which we stayed (according to the action, it cost us only 600 rubles per day).

Our stunning apartment in Konyaalti:

View of the Konyaalti beach from the viewpoint (the one next to the museum), I just fell in love with this view:

If you are going to Antalya for a long time, then it will be cheaper to rent an apartment immediately for a long time, rather than a hotel room.

For example, a separate apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, air conditioning and a bunch of amenities will cost about 70,000 rubles a month.

A simpler option - a studio apartment with a bathroom, air conditioning, furniture, dishes and a communal pool can be found for 600 euros (43,200 rubles) per month in high season.

An apartment for a long period can also be found right on the spot - it is not necessary to book accommodation in advance.

Offers for buying and selling real estate - literally at every step:

2.3. Buying a property

Housing in Konyaalti is characterized by comfort and non-standard finishes. Almost all new houses in the area are sold with furniture, plumbing and kitchen equipment.

Residential complexes in Konyaalti:

Gorgeous flower beds:

In October 2015, a one-room studio on the ground floor in a complex under construction in Konyaalti with an area of 50 sq.m can be bought for 60,000 euros. Short description territory of the complex: outdoor swimming pool, playground, orchard, gym, Turkish bath and other "goodies" for quality rest (or permanent residence).

3. Infrastructure

The infrastructure in Konyaalti is simply excellent - there are all the advantages of a big city combined with good ecology.

A bunch of different ATMs:

The main transport routes pass along the main highways of the region - Ataturk Boulevard and the embankment.

On this highway, which runs along the coast, you can catch a bus to the center (or to the Lara area):

Municipal bus KL08 runs from Liman to Lara beach. From to the Aksu area can be reached by bus AS03. And in general, there are a lot of municipal buses here - from Konyaalti you can get to almost any sight of Antalya without transfers.

Traveling around the city by bus will cost 2 lira, regardless of the distance.

3.2. The medicine

One of the hospitals in the district is state-owned (it is called “devlet”), another one belongs to the university. In addition, Konyaalti has 15 family medical centers health, located throughout the area.

There are many shops and boutiques in Konyaalti. The main shopping center is, of course, Migros 5M:

5. Conclusions

In our opinion, Konyaalti is an excellent area with amazing coniferous air and well-developed infrastructure. The air here is really amazing - I never thought that the city could have such clean and pleasant air. Honestly, we liked this area so much that we wanted to live there longer.

Beauty right?

The beach is literally a stone's throw away, there is a market and a bunch of chain supermarkets, by bus you can quickly get to any attraction of Antalya. You can rent a hotel or apartment both in advance and right on the spot at one of the local real estate agencies.

Turkey attracts with a large number of unique and not very expensive goods. Many tourists come to rest in Antalya, and some even stay here (amazing, right?). Shopping is one of the many exciting parts of spending time on vacation.

The best time to shop is in the morning as Turkey is famous for its hot weather and Antalya is no exception. At noon, when the sun is at its strongest, it is best to spend time close to the hotel.

Products that can be found in many markets vary greatly in value and quality. In some areas (such as Gursu and Altinkum), where tourism is poorly developed and where the local population lives directly, namely the Turks, food is much cheaper than in Liman (one of the districts of Antalya).

Since Turkey is a country where tourism industry It is developed at a high level and there are a lot of tourists here, prices fluctuate: in summer prices are much higher than in spring and autumn. In addition to products, there are a lot of markets where clothes of decent quality are sold, household chemicals, various shoes, spices and seasonings, toys for children, which also deserve great attention from tourists.

If you are looking for good quality clothes for boys and girls,
which would not hit the pocket, you should turn your attention to the branded children's clothing store Cichlid and Breeze girls, which are located on the market in the Liman district.

If you find yourself in Turkey, you should be extremely careful. Turks often inflate the price especially for visitors. Without bargaining with the seller, you can lose some money. As with everything, scams are possible. Always count money, check the change after each purchase and then your vacation will not be overshadowed by bad memories.

If you are going to spend your holidays in Antalya, you should find out what is the difference between the markets and. Some products are only sold in stores but are not sold in markets and vice versa.

Antalya cheese deserves special attention, most often it is sold by weight, the prices for it are quite different. Don't be afraid to taste, you should always be offered that opportunity. Antalya cheese is always fresh, some of its types are fundamentally different in taste from those that we are used to using in Russia or Ukraine, but they are produced without any additives and chemicals.

Sooner or later you will notice that there is no meat in the market. But this is not surprising, in such heat it deteriorates very quickly. That is why it is sold exclusively in large supermarkets and specialty stores such as Kasap (Kasap). A good assortment and fresh meat products can be found in Shock, Migros, Bim and Tansash.

How much money should you take with you when you go shopping in Antalya? This is a question that is difficult to answer directly, since it is quite difficult to find simple information about the cost of various goods, but it is quite difficult to find fresh and absolutely correct information. It all depends on the season in which you go on vacation to Turkey.

Antalya can be called a city of various promotions, discounts and sales, which can be found not only in clothing markets, but also in food markets. This is far from news for tourists who will gladly take advantage of all the benefits offered.

You have a unique opportunity to buy everything you need for the whole week without leaving your home or hotel. Every week the market changes its location, wandering around different parts of the city.

Monday:
The market begins its work next to the Mevlana restaurant, Etiler microdistrict.

Tuesday:
The Souksu market operates in the Bayyndyr microdistrict.
Covered market "Liman" (Konyaalti) is located in Bayindyr microdistrict.

In the Pinarbashi area: there is a covered market next to the Health Department.

Among other things, there is a fairly popular market among visitors in the Kaleci area, which is open daily. But due to the excessive attention paid to it by tourists, the prices there are slightly inflated.

Central market in Antalya

In the central market of Antalya, you will be met by sellers in national costumes, who will offer you, in addition to standard products and things, many goods of purely Turkish production, such as hookahs, spices, spices, teas of various varieties and jewelry. Prices in this market do not bite, they are much lower than in shops and supermarkets. The quality is more than excellent. Many of the products that you will find in this market are handmade. Turkish masters have become famous throughout the world for their ability to create excellent leather items, and their work really deserves attention. Here you can also find (at a relatively low price) products made from valuable materials such as gold and silver.

Who hasn’t heard about such sensational Turkish sweets as Turkish delight, halva, baklava and real Turkish pastries? It is impossible not to pay attention to ripe fruits, various spices, herbs, dried fruits and many types of intoxicating teas and coffees. All this can easily be found and bought in the grocery rows.

Friday market in Altinkum

This market is only open to tourists on Fridays. This is one of the liveliest markets. It is located in the Altinkum district, not far from the Gursu district. You will be able to appreciate the variety of assortment of clothing, food, as well as other interesting goods.

The range of food products impresses with its variety of fruits and vegetables. Here you can find tomatoes, zucchini, potatoes, strawberries, cherries, watermelons and much more. Prices for all this are much lower than in Liman, at the local market. In addition, there you can buy seasonings, spices, cheeses, olives, fish and many varieties of honey.

In Altinkum (Antalya) in the clothing market you can find children's, men's, and women's clothing at a reasonable price. There is a large selection of pajamas, underwear, nightgowns for children and adults. A wide range of things for newborn babies and pregnant women.

Men will not be left without attention. For them, there is a sports and business clothes for every taste, color and size.

If you forgot to buy beach accessories, in this market you can find everything you need: glasses, hats, sandals, bath and beach towels. Here you can also buy beautiful and bright bed linen, jewelry and toys for kids.

This is not the only thing that can please in this market. Prices here are significantly different from other markets, where tourists mostly scurry about. Shops are made here, mainly by local residents, and it is rather difficult to meet visitors here.

Among other things, there are permanent discounts and sales to the delight of tourists and locals. For example, three towels worth 5 lire each will give you only 10. Do not forget to look around and pay attention to the various signs that say about discounts, promotions, and sales.

Konialty market (Liman)

This is the Tuesday market. It will be more modest than the markets in Sharampol or Lara, but, nevertheless, you will definitely find everything you need there.

In particular, there is a large selection of clothes and shoes, as well as sweets, spices, fish and dairy products.

The golden time to visit this market is 10-11 o'clock in the afternoon. If you come later, you will not breathe. There are a lot of people in the market at this time. It’s also not worth it to come in the morning, because most sellers won’t even have prices written yet, and this will force you to constantly ask what’s what. You can also come here in the evening, before closing. At such a time, many prices are reduced, but you run the risk of not finding exactly what you need, since the choice in the evening is no longer so hot.

Market in Sharampol (Charshamba Bazaar)

Impressively bright and colorful bazaar. This place is a real citadel of cheap shopping. There are always a lot of people and cars here. Also, you are unlikely to be able to find a place in the parking lot.

This market is rarely visited by tourists, although it is huge and goods are cheap. The assortment here is slightly different from the assortment of others. clothing markets. Sharampol is located in the very center of Antalya, at the crossroads of Sokullu and Şarampol streets.

The market is built on two levels, thus dividing it into two parts. The first level is replete with vegetables, fruits, sweets, spices and other foodstuffs. The second floor is reserved for the sale of clothing items: clothes, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses and bags, as well as bed linen and household goods. This market is also teeming with locals; you will meet a tourist here, as mentioned above, infrequently.

The local assortment is not much different from the assortment of other markets, but there is more of everything, and prices are an order of magnitude lower.

Let's take tomatoes as an example. In the Sharampol market, they can cost 50 kurush, while in other markets the price will be 1-1.5 lira. The most expensive things here cost 10-15 lire.

- pants - usually 10, or even cheaper,
– shoes, belts – from 5 lire,
- women's blouses - about 7 lire,
- tablecloths on the table - 5 lire,
- jewelry - 1-2 lira,
- points - an average of 5 lire,
- T-shirts, T-shirts - from 2.5 lira.

On the this market very a good choice dresses, skirts, and, also, sundresses. And all this for a price of up to 10 lira. This really impressive market offers a very large range of products, not all of which, unfortunately, have good quality. So, you have to go through a lot of rags to find something worthwhile.

Also, this place is a must-see for lovers of antique gizmos. Here you can often find ancient products made of clay, glass and wood.

Getting here is easy. A tram or a car (which you can rent) will quickly take you to the place. If you have been relaxing on the city beach and are going to visit Sharampol, you can get there on foot, climbing Şarampol street.

If you are coming from the Liman area, look for dolmush #7. From Kemer you will have to go with a transfer to dolmush No. 502 on the 5th migro. It comes from Beldibi, so if you are coming from there, it will also suit you. In any case, feel free to ask the drivers how to get to Charshamba Bazaar and where to get off. Upon arrival at the place, it will immediately become clear where you need to go. It is easy to get lost in the market, as it is crowded and very noisy. So be careful and keep wallets and valuables close to you.

Selection of spices and seasonings in Turkish markets

Fragrant herbs, spices and spices in this city can be found quite often: in the markets, in large supermarkets as well as in specialized stores. The most popular shop in this direction is called "Baharat", replete with oriental sweets, spices, teas and nuts.

In any city in Turkey, you can choose seasonings and spices from the huge assortment offered to you. In each market, you will find many types of herbs and spices (both local and imported from abroad). Among other things, in such outlets the sale of propolis, honey, herbal teas, dried fruits, as well as medicinal oils is common. Sometimes in such places comes across natural soap and even organic cosmetics.

What's the price?

The cost of one Turkish lira is approximately equal to 17 Russian rubles or 3.80 hryvnia. You can also pay in dollars, but keep in mind that the exchange rate will be extremely unfavorable, therefore it is better to take care of the currency exchange in advance.

The average price for clothes and shoes in all Antalya markets is almost the same: T-shirts from 5 to 10 liras, shoes from 5 liras, and sweatpants on average 9-15 liras.

If you missed such a shopping detail as a shopping bag, in any market for only 20 liras you will get a handy suitcase on wheels, with which moving around the market will not be flour for you.

Food prices in the Central Market are an order of magnitude higher than the prices of Sharampol and Lara, and are approximately as follows:
- spices - 1 lira / bag,
- oranges, apples - 0.75 lira / kg,
– carrots – 2 lire/kg,
- eggs - 6.5 lira / 30 pcs,
- onion - 0.75 lire / kg,
- cabbage, pepper, eggplant - 1.5 lira / kg,
- corn - 1 lira / ear,
- watermelon, melon, pear, lemon - 1 lira / kg,
- greens - 0.5-1 lire / bunch.
- potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini - approximately 1 lira / kg,
- mushrooms - an average of 5 lire / kg,
– strawberries – 2 lira/kg,
– salmon – 25 lira/kg,

As you can see, Antalya is a city about which one can say without exaggeration: “Everything is here!” And here, indeed, there is everything, and in a huge assortment. The shops and markets of Antalya will not let you go empty-handed, because only the lazy will not be able to find what you need here. All goods are cheap, and this is not a sign of poor quality, which makes shopping much more pleasant. A person with a not very big wallet will be able to acquire a mountain of things that he will like, please with the price and never disappoint with the quality!

You can also buy a railway ticket for and for the bus. If necessary (for example, to organize a shopping tour), we buy package tours for.

  • Saturday

On Saturday, Antalya's largest open market begins its work, located in the resort area of Dedeman-Lara, in close proximity to the Dedeman Park Hotel. The covered market in the Shirinyaly microdistrict, close to the Laura shopping center, reaches the same territorial scale. Among the locals, this market was called the "secular bazaar". There is a large selection of vegetables, fruits, sweets, fish, dairy products and things at very affordable prices.

  • Sunday

On Sunday, two covered markets open. One in the Chaglayan district of the village of Lara along Barynaklar Boulevards Street, the second in Pinarbashi in the resort region of Konyaalti near the Antalya Regional Health Department.
[k]
Markets start at 6 am and close at 8 pm. The most active time among buyers is in the morning, mainly at this time, locals shop, who come to the markets to buy food for the week, so they want to have time to take everything fresh. Tourists, if they are not focused on buying dairy products and fish, it is better to come here by 11 o'clock in the afternoon.

The markets offer the whole range of goods - products, vegetables, spices, tea, sweets, things, household chemicals and much more. This is a universal place where tourists, choosing the fastest and most comfortable shopping in Antalya, can purchase everything they need at once, and even at very attractive prices. True, it should be borne in mind that comfortable conditions have not been created for trying on things, therefore it is better to go to famous places for such purchases. shopping centers Antalya.

Major shopping malls in Antalya

Shopping in Antalya can last not for a couple of hours, but for the whole day, if the tourist is among the many galleries of one of the shopping centers in Antalya. The malls and outlets of Antalya provide the buyer with such a choice, which only a physically and mentally tough person can decide on. Among the centers that have earned trust and respect are Deepo, Ozdilek Park, Migros, Shemoll, Mark Antalya, Teracity and a dozen other large ones.

Shopping center "Deepo"/Deepo

Located near Antalya Airport, the center is often in demand among tourists who have just got off the plane, as well as those who are about to fly away. One of the services for such passengers is the flight board located in the lobby of the store.

Among all the shopping centers in Antalya, Dipo occupies the niche of the store with the lowest prices. In addition, the sales season here lasts all year round, i.e. at any time of the year you can get a system of discounts up to 70%. For example, taking into account all the discounts, a Nike branded tracksuit can be purchased for $20. By the way, Nike and Adidas brands are more widely represented here than in other major centers.

"Deepo" refers to the type of outlet stores, the concept of which involves the sale of unsold factories for retail network products - seasonal and residual collections. All these things go to the outlet at purchase prices, so the price in Dipo can be even cheaper than on the market.

Store hours are from 10.00 to 20.00 daily. You can get to it by a special bus of the shopping center or by public transport from any bus stops in the resort.

Ozdilek Park Shopping Center

The advantage of the store is its convenient location - in the center of Antalya. You can get to it on foot from the hotels located in the village of Lara, as well as on any of Vehicle region. Territorial advantage also becomes its disadvantage - it is too crowded with people - both tourists vacationing in Antalya and those who came from other Mediterranean resorts, and local residents.

Currently it is the largest shopping center. If shopping in Antalya is based on the purchase of original perfumes and cosmetics, then it is worth visiting Ozdilek Park - here is the widest selection of these products. In addition, there are numerous shops of shoes, bags and accessories that compete with their counterparts. You can get to it by city buses and ANTRAY high-speed trams.

Migros Shopping Center/Migros 5M

Migros is the very first to appear and one of the largest shopping centers in Antalya. It was opened in 2001, thus creating a new platform in the foreign tourist leisure industry. Today, Migros is the most popular store among tourists, and even those who travel to Turkey for the first time have already “something, somewhere, out of the blue” heard about it. But it is precisely such beginners who should know that there are many shops in Antalya bearing the same name. It's not the same thing. They mainly trade in food products and, of course, do not have such a territorial scale.

The vast territory of the center includes over 150 boutiques, which represent world and Turkish brands. Among the most famous stores located in Migros are Zara, Benetton, Mango, Adilisik, Colins, Swarovski, Adidas. Tourists who are interested in these particular brands purposefully go to Migros, knowing about the large selection of clothes presented only here. By the way, this is one of the few malls in the world where so many well-known brands are concentrated.
