At the end of 2016, the Kursk region was the leader in terms of housing construction. In your opinion, does everyone have the opportunity to buy a home? Or this possibility cannot be realized without banks and credits?

Leadership in terms of construction volumes is not the main criterion today. Today there should be much greater optimism in something else: it is possible to build less, but better. We have always built. And they built a lot. During the time of my father Anatoly Deriglazov, first they built houses, and then they started building social facilities. But today the approach to construction has changed. We are laying the foundation of a new house and at the same time we are starting the construction of the same kindergarten. We realized that without social facilities there will be no comprehensive development of new territories, because people first of all need polyclinics, shops, kindergartens, schools, playgrounds. Here is an example: now we are building a large district of Kursk - Severny - designed for a population of 50,000. And already in this part of the regional center, which is still being created, we have built two kindergartens, we are building two more, we are finishing the construction of a school for 1000 places, we are designing a polyclinic, we are building a church, a huge modern shopping and entertainment center will soon appear there, as well as universal shopping mall(market).

And for 10 years we have been participating in almost all state and municipal programs related to providing certain categories citizens. This includes the provision of apartments for the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated and dilapidated housing, the provision of housing for young and large families, the provision of apartments for the provision of housing for orphans and children left without parental care, the sale of apartments to participants in the Second World War, combatants, military personnel, public sector employees and etc.

- This is a very tangible social burden. Are you asked by the city administration or is it your own decision?

Over the past few years, with the participation of KPD, several microdistricts have been built - Pobedy Avenue, the Severny settlement and Klykov Avenue. Which of these projects is your "favorite"?

The village of Severny, I was talking about it. Now this project is still under implementation. I built Pobeda and Klykov Avenues as a chief engineer, deputy for construction, but by no means a leader. But we started to build the village of Severny practically from scratch. One house in the area was built under the direction of my father. Everything else for a comfortable stay of fifty thousand people is carried out under my leadership. This area is especially important for the workers of the plant and our family, because the main street, or rather the avenue, in this area is named after Anatoly Deriglazov. A monument was erected to him in the main square, the bells of the Church of the Presentation of the Lord and the Holy Martyr Anatoly, which are under construction, have recently been consecrated. Together with the team, we decided that the village of Severny would become the best area in Kursk, the most modern and most comfortable for living. We do not just build, we take care of every yard, we plant trees. This is our trademark!

Is perpetuating the name of Anatoly Deriglazov a kind of correction of mistakes, compensation for unsaid words of gratitude, love?

This is gratitude for his foresight, talent. He raised the plant from the ruins, created a team, in the 1990s, when everything was falling apart, only thanks to his efforts and talented management, the enterprise became a leader in the Kursk region. The KPD plant designs a house, then independently implements all cycles construction works without involving specialists from other companies. And after putting the house into operation, we continue to serve it ourselves. The crazy pace of work and inhuman loads undermined the health of Anatoly Deriglazov. He left early... Now the plant bears his name. We continue to implement his ideas. Once he wanted to build a city of dreams. And such a city will be on a plot of 250 hectares. This is again our favorite village Severny! Geographically, it is part of Kursk, but, in fact, it is a "city within a city." Here all communications are own, the thermal power plant is also its own, the collector, its own water intake.

- Do you think his dream came true?

There is still a lot of work. But everything that he dreamed about, comes true. I remember how he wanted to build a temple, but it was not possible then. And now we feel an urgent need for it. We went to Moscow ourselves, ordered the project ourselves, agreed. It turned out not so easy. But we did. Vladyka Herman said that the temple should occupy a central place in the district. So we did. And it is right. And in next year parishioners will be able to come to the Church of the Presentation of the Lord and the Holy Martyr Anatoly. The construction of a thermal power plant and a shopping center was also the dream of Deriglazov Sr., which we are implementing.

- But in Kursk with shopping malls no problem. Rather, there is even an overabundance of them ...

Yes. But we are building the city of dreams. This means that everything should be here - a cinema, a swimming pool, and shops. Everything should be at hand. A resident of the city of dreams should not travel to another area for shopping. He will enjoy and be proud that he lives in such a paradise corner of Kursk.

- What is the secret of the company's success? Not everyone manages to create and keep a team.

Creation of collective - not my merit. The father did everything so that the team survived in the most difficult times. And my share of the merit is that the team did not falter and did not fall apart after his death. We even have a slogan: "Let's preserve and increase the work of Anatoly Deriglazov."

I have been working for this company for 23 years. When Anatoly Deriglazov created the enterprise, he rallied everyone around him and taught that all decisions are made by the leader. Well, when you are brought up for 10 years in one direction that suits everyone, it is difficult to change. And why be smart and twist, if everything works smoothly? Undoubtedly, I listen to people's opinions, everyone has ideas, without this it is impossible to move forward. But the last word is mine. What comes out of it? You can drive around Kursk and see. I am not ashamed of what my enterprise does.

- Do you build only apartment buildings or are you engaged in low-rise construction?

We build everything. We have a whole cottage microdistrict. In the village of Severny, there are three microdistricts of high-rise buildings and one - a cottage.

Do you use a strong word when communicating with subordinates? Rumor has it that your father often used this "method" in his work ...

Yes. I'm his son. And an apple from an apple tree ...

- Is it difficult to be the son of such a famous person?

Difficult. A very big responsibility to the workers of the plant, to the inhabitants of the region.

You continued the work of your father not only in construction, but also in politics. Just like him, they became a deputy of the regional Duma. It turns out to combine professional activity and political?

I am doing my best. Let people rate my work. It's up to them to decide if it works or not...

- Is there any object that has not yet been built, but, thanks to your efforts, will definitely be built?

I am interested in building something new, implementing a complex architectural solution that will attract the attention of not only compatriots. To come from Europe and be surprised at what they can build strong specialists Russia. So the construction of the most important object of my life is yet to come.

- Your favorite place recreation? Where do you prefer to travel?

I love the sea. Sochi, Yalta.

- Do you have property abroad?

- Why don't you follow fashion, don't buy villas in Spain?

I do not consider it appropriate. The house should not stand idle without the owner. So, if you bought a property abroad, your duty is to visit it at least once a year. Well, two or three times you can go to the same place, and then you want to go somewhere else. I tend to see as much as possible in this life.

- You have two children. Will they continue the dynasty? Who would you like to see them?

Let the daughter decide for herself what she will do in the future. And the son, I hope, will show interest in the business of his grandfather and father ... Although he doesn’t even have options.
