Sonic again, together with Tails, frees the inhabitants of the island's animals, chasing Eggman and collecting the Chaos Emeralds. Since then, Sonic entrusts Tails with piloting his plane, and the team on it finds Eggman in his air fortress called Wing Fortress. As they approach the base, Eggman fires a laser at the plane, and Tails, short of reaching the fortress, makes an emergency landing on the island. Sonic manages to get to the fortress and tracks down Eggman. After defeating his next controlled machine, Robotnik retires on his shuttle to the Death Egg, which, apparently, has already taken off and is functioning. Tails picks up the hedgehog on the repaired plane and sends him after Eggman to the flying station.

On the Death Egg, Sonic faces a copy of himself, but not as good as Metal Sonic - Silver Sonic. After defeating the replica, Giant Mech is next, a giant combat-controlled robot with Robotnik's face. With difficulty defeating him, Sonic, using the power of the Chaos Emeralds, turns into Super Sonic and leaves the exploded base, where Tails meets him on a Tornado.

Sonic and Tails on Angel Island

At the very beginning of the Hero story in SA2, Sonic is arrested by government agents and taken to Prison Island, believing him to be the kidnapper of the Chaos Emerald, which was stolen not so long ago. It shoots out a huge green beam that comes from some kind of space colony, hidden for a long time under the guise of a meteor.

Super Sonic and Super Shadow

Some time later, Sonic and Tails pick up Eggman's signal from their secret pyramid base in the president's car and travel there. There, in the pyramid, they meet with Eggman himself, who released his golem robot on them. Sonic fights him, and soon they will go on a rocket to the ARC, that same colony.

Dr. Eggman's cars attack the city, and a squad of robots surrounds the princess, and soon the dock itself appears in front of her. He forcibly demanded to give the Chaos Emerald, which she had, but then Sonic enters into trouble, who saves the princess from under the guns of the robots and escapes from Robotnik's attack.

However, Eggman still overtakes Sonic on his ship and kidnaps her with the help of the Eggmobile. She, in turn, throws him the Chaos Emerald, which was with her. A little later, closer to the morning, Sonic meets Tails, who told about what happened. Together they go to Wave Ocean in pursuit of Egg Carrier (in the game, the ship is named exactly the same as in SA). In the end, the heroes get to the desert, in the ruins of which Sonic and Tails find the princess imprisoned in a dungeon, and try to rescue her. But on the way, Eggman appears, who sets his "pet", Egg Cerberus, on the heroes. They quickly deal with him, and leave the desert back to Soleanna, after splitting up: Sonic with Elise and Tails separately.

On the way to Soleanna, Elise tells Sonic a little story about what the Calamity Flame is and why a guy like Eggman needs it. Solaris is the god of Soleanna who could express his anger through the Flame of Calamity. 10 years ago, the city's scientists were working on this project, resulting in the death of Elise's father. However, she could not tell everything, as she did not remember much as a child.

When Sonic and Elise arrived in Soleanna, the hedgehog was attacked by a silver hedgehog who introduced himself as Silver. He called the hedgehog Iblis Trigger, and was going to destroy Sonic, motivating this by saving the future. Silver literally squeezed Sonic in a vice, and was ready to get even with him, when suddenly Amy appears between them, who blocks Sonic with herself, allowing him to leave. At this time, Eggman again kidnaps the princess, and Sonic rushes after him.

At the port of Soleanna's New City, Sonic and Tails meet Knuckles. Echidna says that he saw Eggman, and he asked to send a message to Sonic. He handed the purple Chaos Emerald to Silver so that he could see who needed to be destroyed. In it, the hedgehog saw a blue hedgehog, which, as he called it, is the Trigger of Iblis. An unknown dark hedgehog opens a portal and sends them back to the time that Iblis' Trigger was alive. After the disappearance of these characters, Sonic bursts into the room with Tails and Knuckles. The fox begins to check the data on the computer, and is horrified to notice that Elise has died on the Egg Carrier. Two days after the Sun Festival, Eggman's ship explodes, killing Elise with it.

Further, Sonic and the guys, along with Shadow and Rouge, meet again. It is revealed that Rouge has found a Chaos Emerald, and with it, the heroes explore the volcano in order to find a second one for a successful time travel. They find the Emerald, but things don't go as smoothly as they should. They fight with a huge flaming monster, and after that, the heroes go back in time, to their own time.

Sonic and Princess Elise

Team Sonic returns to the present, after which the hedgehog reads a newspaper with recent events and sets off in pursuit of Eggman's train, in which he is taking Elise. Sonic manages to save the princess, but after a while Silver pays a visit again, who is ready to deal with Sonic with even greater zeal. Fortunately, in right time Shadow appears and distracts Silver, allowing Sonic to leave. At the same time, Eggman AGAIN kidnaps Elise. However, this time she decided to save herself, but at the same time relying on Sonic. She just jumped from the huge height where the Eggmobile was, and the hedgehog managed to catch her. A little later, they are given to the conversation, the princess talks about her family and the country she rules.

Later, Dr. Eggman strikes again. This time, he threatens to raze Soleanna to the ground, and asks the princess to surrender. Elise has no choice but to go to Eggman, because she, according to her, could not harm her people. Sonic again goes after Egg Carrier, in which Elise is located along with Eggman, but according to the law of the genre, not everything is so simple. Sonic is attacked by Eggman's robots, which are quite superior to the forces of the hedgehog, and even in quantity. But then Silver is announced, who helps Sonic and deals with the mechanics. He motivates this by a "change in circumstances": he also needs to save the princess. Together, they go to Kingdom Valley in pursuit.

But due to a strange coincidence, Eggman's ship crashes, resulting in the death of Eggman and Elise herself. Sonic falls to his knees in despair. However, Silver offers a solution: travel back in time for a day and prevent Elise's death. So they did. With Chaos Control, Sonic and Silver open a portal to the past and Sonic disappears.

Resurrection of Sonic

The hedgehog ends up in Soleanna, after which he goes with Tails and Knuckles to Aquatic Base, to the place where Egg Carrier starts. Sonic enters the ship before it breaks down and fights Eggman for the last time. The fortress collapses, and Sonic and Elise leave it, after which the storyline ends.

In the final story, everything goes to the most unexpected consequences - Sonic is killed by Mephiles, and Elise's crying leads to the destruction of the universe. One way or another, all the heroes, as well as Dr. Eggman, unite to confront the reunited Solaris and save Sonic. Once Sonic's soul is saved, he takes on a super form along with Silver and Shadow to deal a devastating blow to the villain that destroyed the time stream.

Of course, in order to destroy such a monster, it was necessary to destroy it in that period of time when it was still safe. Sonic and Elise go to the moment of Elise's childhood, where a rather weak white light burned in the bowl - Solaris. He needed to be smothered. According to the law of time travel, it turns out that if Solaris did not exist throughout all the events, then the events themselves did not exist. Elise is very saddened by the fact that in the end she will never meet Sonic, but nevertheless she blows out the candle. End.

Sonic Unleashed

Sonic catches up with Eggman's fleet, who intends to attack the planet, but everything starts to go a little differently from the villain's scenario: Sonic, turning into Super Sonic, destroys many of Eggman's ships. However, the scientist, using cunning, lures the hedgehog into a trap and, using the power of the Chaos Emeralds that Sonic had, delivers a powerful blow to the Earth, which splits it into seven large pieces. Unknown forces break out from under the earth's mantle and turn Sonic into a terrible creature that looks like a werewolf. Eggman, on the other hand, drops the hedgehog from the base, along with the Emeralds, which have already lost their power.

Sonic falls on some young flying boy, whom he immediately gets to know. However, this very little one does not remember anything: he does not remember who he is, he does not remember why he came and what he is needed for. By this time, morning is already coming and Sonic takes his usual form, after which both heroes go to Apothos, and the hedgehog names his new friend Chip and promises him to return his memories.

By evening, Sonic takes on the appearance of a werewolf again and discovers new abilities that he did not possess in his usual state. That same evening, he meets with Tails, who was also worried. appearance Sonic, well, and the division of the planet into parts at the same time. The fox suggests that the hedgehog go to Spagonia, talk to Professor Pickle, who, according to Miles, will be able to deal with the problem of the planet. In Spagonia, it is discovered that the professor was kidnapped by Eggman, and after rescuing him and gaining access to the materials, the heroes are already at the University of Spagonia discussing the catastrophe that overtook the planet. According to the Gaia manuscripts the heroes received, this was not the first time the planet had fallen apart. It's all to blame - an unusually strong organism located near the center of the Earth - Dark Gaia. Fortunately, the monster has not yet fully awakened, and there is still a chance to restore the destroyed particles of the planet by restoring energy to the Chaos Emeralds. To do this, Sonic needs to visit all the Temples of Gaia on the globe and use magic stones to return the Earth to normal. The first continent is Mazury.

In Masuria, the heroes run into Eggman, who is also apparently looking for the Temple of Gaia. Eggman, not wanting to dock with Sonic, hurriedly leaves, but later fights him and is defeated. The hedgehog finds the Temple of Gaia first and restores the first continent. Tails catches up with Sonic and Chip and tells them the good news about the continent. Since then, the characters begin a new race around the world in order to save the Earth.

Throughout the adventure, Sonic and Chip visited various countries and continents, gradually restoring the Earth to its former appearance, using the Chaos Emeralds found in various temples of Gaia, at the same time fighting Eggman and the monsters of Dark Gaia. Chip also restores his memories, from which it becomes clear that he is Light Gaia, a creature that should protect Dark Gaia from attempts to destroy the planet. Sonic and Chip also save the inhabitants of the planet from the spirits of Gaia that have inhabited them.

The last part that has not been restored is a small piece along with the island on which the city of Eggman is located - Eggmanland. Sonic gets to Eggman and fights him in werewolf form. During the battle, the heroes get to the bowels of the planet, where Dark Gaia lives. He takes energy from the hedgehog, thanks to which he could turn into a werewolf and himself transforms into a stronger creature. Chip uses his own Energy and transforms into a huge stone golem with the help of Gaia temples from around the world. Sonic, on the other hand, uses his Super Sonic form and fights Dark Gaia along with Chip.

In the end, the hedgehog returns to Apothos, and Chip is left with the defeated villain underground.

Sonic Colors

Sonic with Wisp

Sonic and Tails arrive at Dr. Eggman's amusement park in an elevator he built from the hedgehog planet to a group of planetoids, the main part of which is the Tropical Resort. Strangely, according to Eggman, this park was built to make amends for trying to take over the world many times over. Naturally, Sonic and Tails can't believe it. And they turn out to be right. After some time, Sonic saves several alien creatures from the clutches of the doctor's robots. As it turned out later, these aliens are able to endow Sonic with unique abilities that make it easy to cope with the numerous Eggman robots on the way.

With the help of a Wisp language translator (the name of the race of these little aliens) installed on Miles Electric, one of the rescued Wisp, Yaker, explains to Tails and Sonic that Eggman has captured several planets, including their own, Planet Wisp, in order to collect both as many Wisp as possible to use as energy.

Sonic and company are sent to all the planetoids to free the captured aliens and venerate the freedom of each of the planets. To do this, the hedgehog destroys the generators, which are guarded by the scientist's robots.

After reaching the final planet, the Asteroid Coaster, Sonic frees most of the Wisp, which prevents Eggman from using the Tropical Resort's Laser to strike the hedgehog's planet. All the planets captured by the scientist are freed, and a huge laser gun is destroyed due to the fault of the Rotatatron robot's mechanical arm, which got into the gun's mechanisms after its destruction. Instead of being shot, Dr. Eggman decides to end the hedgehog again and fights him in Terminal Velocity, which connects the amusement park to Earth. Sonic wins and almost dies, but the Wisps come to the rescue, who return him to their planet safe and sound.

Some time after the events Sonic Colors, Sonic's friends are organizing a birthday picnic for Sonic the Hedgehog. Everything would be fine, but some mysterious force appears out of nowhere and kidnaps all the friends of the hedgehog, and leaves him in an infinitely white space.

In this game, Sonic and Tails go to the Lost Hex in order to stop Eggman and the Deadly Six working for him, six representatives of the Zeti race. However, not everything goes according to plan: the Six are freed from Eggman's control, and Zavok, their leader, decides that they themselves will take over the world. Sonic will have to fight all the representatives of the Six, Eggman, and, as usual, save the world.
