PJSC "Ufa Engine Production Association" (UMPO) - Russian enterprise, a manufacturer of aircraft engines. Founded in 1925. The association employs more than 22 thousand people.

The main activities of the enterprise are production, service and repair of turbojet aircraft engines, production and repair of helicopter components, production of equipment for oil and gas industry. Serially produces turbojet engines for aircraft of the Su-35S family (Izdeliye 117 S), Su-27 (AL-31F), Su-30 family (AL-31F and AL-31FP engines), Su-25 family (R-95Sh and R -195), helicopter components for “Ka” and “Mi” helicopters.

At the beginning of the war, a number of engine factories, including those from Rybinsk, were evacuated from the Ufa plant square. December 17, 1941 Rybinsk Motor Plant number 26, two Leningrad backup plants (234th and 451st), partly 219th from Moscow, design bureau (Moscow), design bureau of V. A. Dobrynin (Voronezh) and two Ufa plant - motor (384th) and diesel (336th) are combined into a single whole. The new enterprise became the legal successor of the merged factories and received the head number - 26th. In 1943, the plant was given the task of creating a centrifuge for uranium enrichment according to the project of F. F. Lange, necessary for the USSR atomic project.

Subsequently, it was renamed the Ufa Engine-Building Plant, on the basis of which the Ufa Engine-Building Production Association was created in 1978, which in 1993 became the open joint-stock company “Ufa Engine-Building Production Association”.

In August 2011, by order general director"United Engine Corporation" Andrei Reus, the association is determined to be the country's parent enterprise for the production of engines for military aircraft. On the basis of OJSC UMPO, this order created a division of engines for military aviation of OJSC Management Company UEC, the head of which was appointed the managing director of the association, Alexander Artyukhov. One of the results of the formation of the structure was the emergence of two branches of JSC UMPO in 2012: “Experimental Design Bureau named after A. Lyulka” (Moscow) and “Lytkarinsky machine-building plant"(Lytkarino).

An excerpt characterizing the Ufa Engine Production Association

“Aunt Milya, it’s already over,” I whispered quietly, trying not to scare her. - He will never come again.
She opened her eyes and looked around her disfigured room with a tired look.
-What was that, honey? – she whispered.
– It was your husband, Vlad, but he will never come again.
Then she seemed to burst through... I had never heard such a heartbreaking cry before!.. It seemed that this poor woman wanted to cry out everything that had accumulated in her life over these long and, as I later found out, very terrible years. But, as they say, no matter how much despair or resentment there is, you cannot cry endlessly. Something overflows in the soul, as if tears wash away all the bitterness and pain, and the soul, like a flower, little by little begins to return to life. So Milya, little by little, began to come to life. Surprise appeared in the eyes, gradually giving way to timid joy.
“How do you know he won’t come, baby?” – as if wanting confirmation, she asked.
Nobody called me “baby” for a long time, and especially at that moment it sounded a little strange, because I was exactly the “baby” who had just, one might say, accidentally saved her life... But naturally, I was not going to be offended. And there was no strength, not only to take offense, but even just... to move to the sofa. Apparently everything to the last was “spent” on that one blow, which now I could never repeat.
My neighbor and I sat together for quite some time, and she finally told me how all this time (for ten whole years!!!) her husband had been tormenting her. True, she was not completely sure then that it was him, but now her doubts were dispelled, and she knew for sure that she was right. Dying, Vlad told her that he would not rest until he took her with him. So I tried for so many years...
I couldn’t understand how a person could be so cruel and still dare to call such horror love?! But I was, as my neighbor said, just a little girl who still couldn’t fully believe that sometimes a person can be terrible, even in such a sublime feeling as love...

One of the most shocking cases in my very long “practice” of contacts with the essences of the dead occurred when I was calmly walking home from school on a warm autumn evening... Usually I always returned much later, since I went on the second shift, and had lessons with we finished somewhere around seven o'clock in the evening, but that day there were no last two lessons and we were sent home earlier than usual.
The weather was unusually pleasant, I didn’t want to rush anywhere, and before going home I decided to take a short walk.
The air smelled of the bittersweet aroma of the last autumn flowers. A playful light breeze rustled in the fallen leaves, quietly whispering something to the naked trees bashfully blushing in the reflections of the sunset. The soft twilight breathed with peace and silence...
I really loved this time of day, it attracted me with its mystery and fragility of something that had not happened and at the same time had not even begun... When today had not yet become a thing of the past, and the night had not yet come into its own ... Something “nobody's” and magical, something as if suspended in the “between time”, something elusive... I adored this short period of time and always felt very special in it.
But on that day, something “special” happened, but certainly not something special that I would like to see or experience again...
I was calmly walking towards the intersection, deep in thought about something, when I suddenly found myself abruptly torn out of my “dreams” by the wild squeal of brakes and the screams of frightened people.
Right in front of me, a small white passenger car somehow managed to hit a cement pillar and, with all its might, hit a huge oncoming car right in the forehead...
After a few moments, the essences of a little boy and girl “jumped out” from the crumpled almost flat white car, who looked around in bewilderment, until finally they stared in shock at their own physical bodies, disfigured by a strong blow...
- What is this?! – the girl asked in fear. “Is that us there?...” she whispered very quietly, pointing her finger at her bloody physical face. - How can this be... but here, it’s us too?..
It was clear that everything that was happening shocked her, and her greatest desire at that moment was to hide somewhere from it all...
- Mom, where are you?! – the little girl suddenly screamed. - Mom-ah!
She looked about four years old, no more. Thin blonde braids, with huge pink bows woven into them, and funny “pretzels” puffed up on both sides, making her look like a kind faun. Wide-open, large gray eyes looked in confusion at the world that was so familiar and familiar to her, which suddenly for some reason became incomprehensible, alien and cold... She was very scared, and she did not hide it at all.
The boy was eight or nine years old. He was thin and fragile, but his round “professor” glasses made him look a little older, and he seemed very businesslike and serious in them. But at the moment, all his seriousness suddenly evaporated, giving way to absolute confusion.
A sobbing, sympathetic crowd had already gathered around the cars, and a few minutes later the police appeared, escorting ambulance. Our town was still not large at that time, so city services could respond to any “emergency” incident in a fairly organized and quick manner.
The emergency doctors, having quickly consulted about something, began to carefully remove the mutilated bodies one by one. The first was the body of a boy, whose essence stood in a stupor next to me, unable to say or think anything.

Good afternoon, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich. I live in the city of Ufa and while I work, I work at PJSC UEC UMPO. Briefly, the situation is as follows: I have been working at this plant for 8 years, I received a specialty as a milling machine operator and later began working as a service technician at milling machines. The work of an adjuster is to set up and debug machines for certain group workers.

I want to say that this work is very difficult, not every man can cope with it, especially in a site with a huge nomenclature. But it so happened that my health began to fail, my legs began to hurt. The devices are too heavy for a woman. After three months of visiting hospitals, the doctors finally forbade me to work with weights and standing at the machine.

It’s sad, but with great hope, I went to the personnel department, the plant is huge, can’t I really find a job where I can work while sitting and will have virtually no loss in salary. Moreover, I acquired such a disease as arthrosis of the joints by sacrificing my health at work, why shouldn’t the plant now meet me halfway? No matter how it is! Arriving at the HR department, I was met with unmotivated anger; in expressions that bordered on censorship, they explained to me that now no one needed my services at all.

As a worker, I lost all value for the plant, they explained to me that if I didn’t leave myself, I would work in the lowest positions until I left. at will. All this was accompanied by shouting and rudeness. The most interesting thing is that at the same time the plant is hiring a huge number of people who need to be trained from scratch, spending huge amount finance. At the moment I am writing my resignation letter, and now I have absolutely no idea where to look for work.

I am a single mother, my daughter is a full-time student at the College of Statistics and Informatics, my father suffered a stroke 10 months ago, and I constantly experience severe pain when walking. At the same time, I absolutely love my job, I like working with metals, learning new machines, etc. I specially graduated from FBGPO UAT UGATU in order to successfully work at this enterprise.

It is very painful and insulting that workers are treated like tools - “if it’s broken, throw it away.” It is most likely impossible to change this system, so I don’t really count on an answer. I just feel pain and bewilderment from what is happening. By voting for you in the previous elections, I believed that something could really change.

I hope that you will not disappoint our expectations. Happy elections! Overheard by UMPO on September 29, 2017 at 9:27 pm Good evening everyone! I would like to tell you one instructive story that touched me personally.

Let's start with the fact that I am a woman and I am 41 years old. I have been working at the plant since 2010. She started working as an MSR mechanic, then received a specialty as a milling machine operator, and along the way she mastered the specialty of a thread cutter. But the main specialty still remains milling.

I would like to note that I initially liked working with metals, I really enjoyed setting up the machines, and seeing the result, especially the perfect part, is just a delight. I worked as an adjuster for almost 4 years, and was a mentor several times, but that’s just lyrics. And now. There was such a thing as ill health.

Still, carrying equipment weighing up to 30 kg every day and repeatedly is a little difficult for a woman. Doctors forbade lifting weights and recommended changing the specialty to a less difficult one. I come to the HR department with all my hopes and what do I get? 1.

I AM OLD (I play sports, although now to a limited extent, I travel a lot), 2. My diploma from an aviation technical school received with honors this year is just a piece of paper, sorry - cardboard. (The plant does not need people with education) 3. It was stated that due to my age I would not be able to master a new specialty (one of my students was 47 years old at the beginning of her apprenticeship).

4. Development new specialty now cancelled. 5. In our family, my father worked at the plant (he deserved a lot of things, a huge folder of certificates and all sorts of awards), a brother (long experience) and I (I can say considerable experience).

Experienced people are NOT NEEDED at the plant! In general, I'm looking now new job, but I am perplexed: they are looking for people with experience, but do not need their experienced workers, they demand education, but it is not needed, and just like in the joke: they need a secretary with at least 5 years of experience, higher education, but not older than 20 years. I'm interested in your opinion. Please remain anonymous This is my post on social network"In contact"
