How to make a Christmas tree out of soap without a mold. How to make a very beautiful Christmas soap with your own hands. To make we need

Probably everyone heard about soap self made. Bright beautiful fragrant pieces are sold in hand-made cosmetics stores. But not everyone knows that it is equally unusual and useful soap You can make your own hands, and please yourself or loved ones.

Children especially like soap making. Still - there are so many interesting things, you can feel like a real home chemist! Let's make the simplest soap.

What you need for New Year's soap:

  • 100 gr of soap base (It can be white and transparent, sold in shops for soap makers. If you don’t want to buy a whole kilogram of base, you can buy a ready-made kit for soap making, it already includes all the necessary components);
  • base oil- 1 tsp (this is the most useful ingredient in handmade soap, sea buckthorn, olive, sweet almond, etc. are usually used);
  • food coloring, a few drops (you can use natural dyes, for example, sea buckthorn oil);
  • flavor or favorite essential oil - 5-7 drops;
  • silicone or plastic mold in the form of a snowflake, an asterisk or something New Year's;
  • dry herbs, glitters or other additives (if desired).

So let's cut it first. soap base into small cubes. Since the soap is New Year's, we will make it with coniferous oil and herbs.

We put it in a saucepan and put it in a water bath. You can also melt the base in the microwave, the main thing is not to overheat, the melting point is 70 degrees.

After it has melted, add the base oil, a few drops of dye, herbs, flavor and mix well.

After the mass hardens, you can pull the soap out of the mold.

Here's what happened. And don't forget to package your New Year's soap nicely!

And for a snack - photos of New Year's soap masterpieces and other recipes.

1. Let's prepare the forms. For New Year's gifts, I took the form of "herringbone" and the form of "snowflake in the snow."
2. We cut the soap base into pieces and at the same time figure out how much soap base we need. To do this, fold the chopped base into molds. We need to fill in the forms with a slide - so we will determine the approximate volume of the base we need.

3. We put the chopped base in a small saucepan, close the lid (so that the moisture does not evaporate) and make a water bath. To do this, we place the pot with the base with a larger pot and fill the larger pot with boiling water, put it on the stove. We need to melt the base, but not bring it to a boil. I also do not bring water to a boil - so as not to overheat the base. If you have a microwave, you can melt the base in it, I just don't have one.

4. While the base is melting, I measure how much liquid base will fill my molds. To do this, I pour water into the mold, and pour it into a plastic glass, remember (note). The photo shows how much liquid base we will need for the Christmas tree shape (left) and for the snowflake shape (right).

5. This is what the melted base looks like.

6. Add base oil, I add a few drops, stir. For 100 gr. soap no more than 1/3 tsp. oils, otherwise the soap will not lather well. If there is already oil in the base ( Russian basis), this step can be omitted.

7. I pour the base for Christmas tree soap into a plastic glass.

8. I add mother-of-pearl (New Year's soap!) to the soap base at the tip of the knife. I stir.

9. I add green dye (I have it dissolved in glycerin). Our soap is one-color, so we can add both non-migrating and migrating dye. Add dye to taste.

10. Adding scent. For the Christmas tree, I have conceived a combination of essential oils - spruce and cedar. I added 8 drops.

11. This is how our soap base with additives looks like.

12. Spray the form with alcohol and fill the base. If the base has had time to cool down and begins to harden, I lower the glass into a pot of hot water, hold for a minute - it becomes liquid again.

13. Then we sprinkle alcohol on the base again to remove bubbles from the surface.

14. Since the form itself does not stand exactly on the surface, you need to figure out how to set it evenly. I have it like this:

15. Leave alone the Christmas tree, it is still hardening. Let's take a snowflake.

For a snowflake, we need a syringe.
16. Cast a small amount of the base into a glass - we first need to draw a snowflake. You can pre-measure the volume with water. It is important here that the base be sufficiently liquid, hot, because. small volume freezes quickly. We color with a non-migratory dye, stir.

17. In order to have time to fill the snowflake with the base, I pre-heat the syringe under running hot water, draw the base into it.

18. Fill the snowflake neatly and quickly. The photo shows how many bubbles, urgently remove them with alcohol.

19. We are waiting for solidification.

20. I dissolve several crystals of menthol in a small amount of alcohol. I want to achieve a cooling effect from the soap.

21. Add scent if needed. I add mother of pearl, and titanium dioxide dissolved in glycerin (to give it a white color). This is what the base looks like with these additives.

22. I spray the first layer of soap with alcohol - it has already cooled down, I pour the second one - snow.

23. The mold stands exactly by itself, you don’t need to invent anything. Let's leave it alone.

Christmas soap packaging

And most importantly, it is beautiful to present pieces of soap as a gift. To do this, you need to choose the right packaging. If you correctly wrap the simplest soap, then it will become a welcome gift for the New Year. Here are some options for how you can arrange a gift for donation

We didn’t have time to celebrate the New Year - how to prepare gifts for Christmas. And here it is useful to remember that the most best gift- made by hand. But such a gift should be not only pleasant and beautiful, but also useful. And what could be more useful than soap?

When mankind invented soap, the number of diseases associated with unsanitary conditions began to decline. But science and the chemical industry do not stand still, and over time, soap has ceased to be a completely safe product.

Soap Philosophy

Soap is a chemical product, a mixture of sodium and potassium salts of fatty acids. It is made by means of transformations of the most different acids under the influence of hydroxides. Roughly speaking, ordinary fat is taken, caustic soda is added to it, heated, and soap is obtained.

But not all soaps are created equal. So, soap removes everything from the skin indiscriminately, so you can’t constantly wash yourself with bactericidal soaps every day. In addition, soap can degrease the body.

When choosing soap in the store, you need to carefully study the packaging to know whether it is natural or synthetic. Synthetic wash the skin too well, wash off absolutely the entire layer of fat.

It is also important to avoid all possible reactions to soap - skin, allergic. Allergy sufferers are generally recommended to wash with baby soap. If the skin is oily, you can use any cosmetic or toilet soap. And if you have acne on oily skin, then it is better to choose sulsenic soap for washing.

But the most useful best soap- made with your own hands, because you know exactly what it consists of. In addition, making soap is an exciting and creative process that allows you to get a product with the properties that your skin needs.

Homemade soap is the maximum of natural ingredients and the fragrance that you like.

How to become a soap maker?

You will need:

  • Baby soap or special soap base, which can be bought at specialized craft stores. It is transparent and matte.
  • Soap mold.
  • Fatty oil (can be olive).
  • Flavoring.
  • Dye.
  • Additives on request.

Process:

1. Form. Choose a form for future soap. It can be a special plastic form from a craft store or whatever is on hand: children's sand molds, yogurt cups or milk cartons, a silicone baking dish (most convenient for beginners).

2. Soap base or baby soap cut into cubes and melt in a water bath or in a microwave. If you use a microwave, be careful, the base heats up very quickly, and it should not boil. It is better to be at the oven and periodically stir the base.

3. Fatty oil. Pour 100 grams of soap base into a glass and add 1/3 teaspoon of fatty oil. Do not overdo it, because if there is too much oil, the finished soap will not lather.

4. Color. Dyes are dry, liquid, pigments, pearls. In addition, natural ingredients can also give color to soap. For example, chocolate will make soap brown, while coffee will make it black.

Dry dyes are very concentrated. They need to be dissolved in water and only then added to the soap with a pipette. If you add too much dye, the soap suds will be colored.

Liquid dyes are already diluted, they are very convenient to use. Add 1-10 drops per 100 g of soap. You can mix them together, so it's enough to buy dyes of the primary colors - red, yellow and blue.

Pigments are insoluble colored powders. Take a third of a teaspoon of pigment per 100 g of soap base, mix in a teaspoon with fatty oil so that there are no lumps. Only then add to the base. If you have chosen a pigment, use it at the stage of adding fatty oil to the soap so that the latter does not end up becoming too much. Also keep in mind that the pigment clouds the soap base. So, if you use a transparent base, after adding the pigment, the soap will still become matte.

Mother-of-pearl is sequins, glitters. They will make the soap more festive and elegant. Can be used with any of the other types of dyes.

5. Aroma. For a pleasant smell, you can add either essential oil (3-7 drops per 100 g of base) or water-based flavors (3-4 drops per 100 g) to the soap. Do not mix essential oils and fragrances with each other - the smell will end up being unpleasant. But different essential oils in one soap, as well as different flavors, can be mixed. Consider also the fact that essential oils have additional properties, for example, orange or ginger essential oil invigorates, while lavender essential oil, on the contrary, calms.

6. Cosmetic additives. Additional ingredients can be added to the soap to enrich it and give it additional properties or to make a scrub soap. You can add to soap:

  • chocolate or cocoa
  • powdered milk,
  • cereals,
  • coconut shavings,
  • cosmetic clay,
  • coffee,
  • zest of an orange or lemon.

7 . When you have added everything you need to the soap, you need it pour into mold and chill in the refrigerator or on the windowsill. Remove the soap from the mold only when it has completely cooled down. Silicone molds easily removed, literally turning inside out, so it is optimal for beginners and for those who save time. Plastic gives more scope for imagination, but the soap is pulled out of it harder. If the soap cannot be pulled out of the mold at all, leave it for a few days, it will dry out, and it will be easy to get it out.
