Maria Liman - TV presenter, model. A person who is always developing, improving himself and never giving up.

How long have you been a TV presenter?

A year ago I won a contract and got on the Fashion TV channel. I can say that I am very happy about this, because it was during this period of time that I realized what I like, who I want to be and what I want to develop in. Here I gain tremendous experience, learn from my own mistakes, realize myself, and discover something new.

Having already had experience, what qualities should a TV presenter have?

It seems to me that this is a whole baggage of qualities, because a TV presenter must be a versatile person. To be a successful TV presenter you need to know everything and about everything, you need to be able to support and continue any conversation on absolutely any topic. Erudition, curiosity, ambition are very important qualities. Also, correct speech, diction is what the viewer first of all pays attention to. And of course, appearance, makeup, clothes, hairstyle.

Who did you dream of becoming as a child?

I dreamed of becoming an architect. And I became one, graduated from a civil engineering university and worked as an architect for some period. I also always dreamed that my profession would be connected with art, with creativity, so now I am in harmony, as I am doing what I like.

Now you work as a TV presenter on Fashion TV. Like? What attracts you the most?

Yes, I really like it. This is the profession in which I want to develop, so I can confidently say that absolutely every aspect attracts me. I want to learn everything about this profession in order to become a real professional.

Do you have any views on the future? Where else would you like to work?

I would like to try myself on other channels. And I would also like to try myself as an actress. Recently a video was released by the group Artik&Asti, in which I played the main role. I really liked it, again - this is creativity, so I felt very comfortable. I want to try myself in the acting field, I already have offers from several directors! I really love playing different roles!

What do you think is the advantage of being a presenter? And why?

I love communication, so one of the main advantages of this profession for me is communicating with interesting people. Of course, this is recognition, these are great opportunities. Also, in this profession, each time you learn more and more about everything, the areas of knowledge expand.

Was this profession easy at all? After all, probably not everyone can become a TV presenter.

I think I'm just at the beginning stages. Now I am actively studying with various teachers to improve myself.

In addition to beautiful and correct speech and diction, a TV presenter must be able to dress correctly, don’t you agree? Does someone help you with this or are you on your own?

Of course I agree. Because a TV presenter is also a picture that should certainly please the viewer’s eye. I dress myself, choose my own outfits, I can send photos to my friends and ask for advice.

Is there any excitement when you interview someone? If yes, how are you trying to combat this?

At first it was very exciting, now it’s much easier. But in any case, I try to take it easier, you need to be able to catch the wave of your interlocutor, and then everyone will be comfortable.

What feelings and emotions did you have when you were preparing the very first issue for Fashion TV?

It was exciting, it was a little scary how they would perceive it, whether they would like it, because you still see yourself from a slightly different angle.

What could you wish for those who only dream and want to become TV presenters?

I would like not to give up, go towards my goal and develop.

It is known that the model not only takes part in photo shoots and fashion shows, but also hosts one of the programs on the Fashion TV channel, continues her education at the Television Academy and is engaged in active social activities, protecting nature and animals.

22-year-old Maria Liman has several prestigious titles to her name. Just a year ago, she became the winner of the international beauty contest Miss World Next Top Model Russia 2015, which took place in Moscow. After her triumph in the capital, the model went to the “Supermodel of the Universe 2015” competition in Bulgaria.

The Rostovite entered the top three most beautiful girls, receiving the title “2nd Vice-Miss”. Liman also boasts numerous shoots for leading glossy publications in Europe, including: InStyle, VOGUE, L’officiel.

“As an international model, I always had a lot of photo shoots for glossy magazines,” says Maria. – Many girls with the same experience travel all over the world, including the islands – Bali, Seychelles, looking for beautiful locations. And I decided to stand out from the general flow and show the beauty of the nature of my native Russia. I want to convince people that you don’t have to travel thousands of kilometers to take beautiful photos and have a great rest.

Modeling, as Liman admits, is her hobby. The girl dreams of cinema and plans to visit Hollywood, meet American directors and, if she’s lucky, film abroad in the next year or two. A modeling career, Liman says, is a springboard for her into the film industry.

“Now I’m filming TV series on the STS and Domashny channels,” admits Masha. – They should appear on air in September. In one I play the main, not entirely happy role. And in the second series I have a cameo role. My heroine is a bright and beautiful girl from luxury life. She appears in the film to add zest to the plot and show that not everything is so bad.

I perceive filming in TV series as an experience, because I understand that my knowledge is not yet enough to work in full-length films. Then the plans include filming films by famous directors. And although I do not have an acting education, I do not plan to enroll and study for several years. I think that this is not necessary for a person who has talent. Now I am taking lessons from the actors of the Sovremennik Theater, and this is enough for me for now, since in practice, during the filming process, I immediately work out all my shortcomings.

Despite Maria’s constant employment, her loved one does not travel with her chosen one. But if she stays somewhere for a long time, she always returns to Moscow after five days and spends the weekend at home with him. And then again on a business trip.

- Of course, I want a wedding. But I’m not mentally ready for this yet. I'm happy with the relationship I'm in. When I get a little older and stop chasing my crazy ideas, then maybe I’ll become calmer, accept the proposal that has already been received several times, and get married.

– Health is the most important thing we have. When we have a healthy body, we will have good skin, a healthy complexion and a toned figure. I don’t follow any diets, because they only give a temporary effect - the body is in shock from what is happening, and then stores up as much as possible to survive the next time. My figure is the result of proper nutrition and exercise. I go to the gym three times a week, if possible. An expander helps out when traveling – it even fits in a handbag. And if you know how to use it correctly, you can use it to pump up all muscle groups, that is, in any conditions, it can replace an entire gym.
